'Free from the shackles of Cardinal Roychelieu, it is time to make some serious inroads in to the MG.'
The make up of the team:
Based in Brazil it can be of little surprise that the majority of the team comes from the Pindorama. Unsurprisingly there is a strong Latin American feel to the team with NCs from Bolivia, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay apart of the Flores-Ceitec roster.
That said Flores-Ceitec has looked around the world for the 'missing pieces to the jigsaw'. Evident with strong additions from Australia, Germany and Slovenia etc.

Talansky trained from 75-77 in hill.
Q: Are you happy with how the transfer window went?
A: Yes, I think we have got to be happy. Without doubt the team is much stronger than when we left the 2015 transfer period behind us. Out goes Roy, out goes Manarelli but in comes Roglic, Talansky, Mehr-Wenige and a host of more than capable domestiques. All this with a budget very far from the largest around. Super.
Q: Speaking of Talansky: You overpaid didn't you?
A: Well it sure looks like that. But let us remember his duration on the market was one of the longest in the entire transfer period. After a few days had passed, and other deals had invariably passed us by, we were absolutely committed to Talansky and would have gone well over 500,000 to secure him.
Q: The rumours are Talansky, rather than hitting the mountains, will be doing plenty of hill training over the coming weeks? Is there much credence [Clearwater] to this?
A: Yes, but time will tell whether this will be the right decision. A big improvement in hills or a slight improvement on the mountains for Talansky: that has to be the hardest decision of the entire period for us.
Q: Which riders for which goals?
A: For the high mountain, one-week, stage races we are clearly relying on Contador there: big climbers are now in the division but we believe he has plenty more to offer this season. Expect Talansky to ride Táchira. For the Tour of America, Talansky may well turn up but Roglic will feel capable of achieving the top 5 goal.
Q: So, looking good for the team?
A: Looking good! We have someone for most terrains, plenty of numbers who could be effective in early breakaways. Just missing a specialist for the cobbles really: but as cobbles only make up several races on our calendar we don't mind that. Yeah.
Lookin' good.
