Incredible season for us, probably my best in the game. Not even that sure how it happened but very pleased that we managed to stay up against the odds and all your vindictive predictions Congrats to Sotd, definitely someone who cares a lot about the game. Commiserations to jph, valv, bushwackers and the guy who does bacardi. Good luck in PCT (I know it should probably be me there).
And of course thanks so much to SN for all your hard work in running this game and to all reporters and guys working behind the scenes. A great season guys.

Congratulations to SotD for winning the PT trophy, highest honor of them all and well deserved. I'm sure SN will strike back though, having looked at previous WT rankings Vesuvio's consistency is unbelieveable.
I have tried to follow WT as best I could but there are worlds apart to my current team. Evonik shows how fast WT can become a reality, and people like Avin and tsmoha have done well to make a lasting impact in their WT debut.
Cheers to a spectacular season with so many highlights, from Ponzi's Ardennes Triple to Bewley's blast through the monuments, Schleck completing his Grand Tour collection and Pluchkin's Grand Tour double, and much more of course.

Well, that was unexpected. Lombardy miracle happened. Big congrats SotD, happy for you to finally see you taking the crown! Sorry for SN to see his team losing the title in this way, but well, it is PCM, everything can happen.
Unbelievable season for me. I have never thought 6 years ago when I joined the game, this game could be so enjoyable and addictive for me, big thanks to everyone involved for that. And well, big thanks to my decision to sign a guy named Sam Bewley a few years ago as well. What an enjoyable journey with him this season was, he probably can't have any better season than this one. 3 moument wins, TdF stage wins, stage wins in Qatar and wins in quite a lot of another PT classics. Absolutely superb to see him taking the individual PT crown and be the main peace of my team campaing for a 3rd place overall and accomplishing 4 of my 5 team goals (23/23 difficulty) for this season. And well, Sagan superb again, 30rd in rankings is just amazing for a rider of his attributes. PCM engine really likes him it seems, it is going to be some hard decisioning if I really should train him in the future. Not too great season for Velits, a really bad one for Howard, I had bigger hopes for him after my big pre-season investment into him. But overall still the best season ever for my team in this game. Only the overall title can probably better this one, hopefully we will be at least close like this year sometimes in the coming years.
Big suprises for me are final places for Metinvest, Pendleton's, VW, Bacardi and Swisscom, both in good or bad way. Still wish the best luck to Heine, Bushwackers, valv and jph in PCT, hopefully we will meet in one division again sooner than later (and I hope it won't be my team relegating one division down! ). Expected Quickstep, Red Bull and Tinkoff a little bit higher too, on the other way 1t4i, Bouygues and Orange a few places down in the standings. But middle of the table is always really packed.
Otherwise a superb season for ember after his risky but surely worthy big team rebuild in the off-season, congrats! Superb to see a likeable team like Good Energy so high too, you will be surely missed rjc! And special mention from me to tsmoha, great to see such an active manager and reporter being rewarder by staying up in PT, which is always a hard task especially in the first season after promoting. Even more amazing to see Avin so up in the table too, especially for a promoting team! Good to see Mre's team staying up here too, even it was a real battle to the last race.
And well lastly big thanks to all reporters for the amazing pace of quality reports in this season. I absolutely don't remember such a fast season like was this one. Pure enjoyment this was.

Thanks to all those involved in running another great season of the ManGame!
Congrats SotD for finally taking the much wanted PT crown!
As for myself, I had hoped I could actually make it into the top 10 in the last half of the season, but with only one star (and that being only a top 20 overall individual standings star) it was quite impossible. Still, a good season considering most of predictions (and even my predictions at some point in the season) had us way down.
Now, time to think of a more successful strategy for the next seasons as I feel that the team is not progressing at all. It's not even staying on the same line, it's slowly going downhill.

Another year done, and a new experience for Bouygues, as this is our first season where we've ever been mid-table mediocrity and haven't had to worry about relegation too much. Rein Taaramae obviously has been our stand out performer, with his 5th place finish a huge improvement on 14th last year, and we look forward to him challenging for Le Tour again this season (although hopefully for that top step).
Theo Bos finishes the year with 11 points down in 504th place. Which is a remarkable 74 place improvement on last year. Next year, he'll be aiming to at least come 3rd.
Finally Sotd gets that long overdue ProTour victory, although in the cruelest way possible given what happened to Vesuvio in Lombardia. Looking at his squad too is terrifying, given how strong it will be over the next few seasons. Expect the usual bid for Lecuisnier over the transfer season, hopefully this time you'll make a mistake and accept it.
My personal team of the year has been Metinvest, who have been astonishingly good. The big challenge for them is to see how they strengthen in case Pluchkin doesn't have as good as year again, but I'm sure they'll do just fine.
Sad to see teams relegate, but it has to happen, and I'm especially sad to see Meiji go down, who were already my favourite team before they signed Cunego this year. Good luck for next year, hopefully we'll see you the season afterwards with an improved team. Hopefully that will be because you promote, and not because we relegate...
A sad adieu to rjc. He was a huge part of the management game as we expanded after the first few seasons, and personally has been one of the most pleasant and enjoyable members of the management game (and PCM.Daily in general). Ponzi's victory at the Giro di Lombardia victory after his Ardennes triple a fitting finale to such a wonderful member of the management game.
And a finally a big thank you to all the reporters and organisers over the course of the season. I'd especially like to thank SN, who continues to do a ludicrously fantastic job running this game.
See you all for the Worlds and transfer season.
Oh, and please sell me Lecuisinier.
Please.

I will start with the most important. A big good bye, and see you, to rjc. You've been one of the important guys in this game and it's sad to see you go.
Then I have to congratulate Sotd, finally you won the PT. You've had many great teams so it was about time!
Then over to myself... What can I say? I expected much better this season... I thought I had a pretty good team. I bet that nearly all my riders did better last season. Except for Zabel, I love that guy, and he ended up being my best scorer. What was the odds of that before the season started? He has been very consistent and always done well.
The other guys though... Denifl... Claeys... I wont say more
Anyway, it will be PCT for me next year, and a new team name (post in a few days!). Will be interesting to be back there, and I have a lot of decisions to make about riders to keep or not... Anyway, for my last words in PT I have to quote the famous Governator: I'll be back!

First of all, thanks to SN and the whole "crew" for delivering a great pace and quality and joy over the entire season! It has been a big pleasure again!
Second: thanks for the congrats to Oz/me and our more or less comfortable first PT season. I was pretty optimistic about our chances to stay up, but of course anything can happen in such a season. So it's a great achievement to finish 11th with a few notable results here and there. We had some disappointing results (like too less TT success for my liking) or bad luck (Burghardt crashing in Roubaix).. On the other hand some surprising results from Visconti or Bobridge most recently. Goss as the big fail though. Kinda ironic that his best outing (Giro) was also the most unlucky goal miss for Oz.
In addition to our PT success, Morton rode to a nice Avenir victory. This is always a great bonus and something we will never forget.
Congrats to SotD for the overall victory. Reading through all the latest race threads, one could hardly imagine Festina would pull this effort.. Great stuff from the team with their manager already sending his congrats to SN Pretty damn unlucky finish for Vesuvio. Epic shit from Pluchkin (and a few more surprising results) to lift Metinvest high into the rankings. Gratz, Avin. You know, I love you both (SotD, Avin), despite you guys being the biggest pain in the PCM moaning a**
Might add some more mentions later on. But for now I will drink a beer.

Sad to see rjc_43 leave, he has been great for the game for so many years, and also one that speaks nicely to anyone who behave. Great to see you leave on a high after a superb season from especially Ponzi, those potential Ponzi vs. Boasson Hagen battles will never be quite the same without Good Energy/rjc.
A big thank you to all of you that have made this season memorable with everything from quick reporting to various backroom work. And obviously an extra thank you to SN for putting in all those hours for this lovely game.
Huge congratulations to SotD on the title, taking that crown you've chased and built your team for in so many seasons, but not been able to get.
Also very nice to see Pendleton's stay up by a big margin considering the transfer of Martin. And Pendleton's will stat wise only get better in 2016, considering the development of Dombrowski, Lutsenko and Senechal. Nice that also Oz had such a great season considering they were newly promoted and without any big star (well, Burghardt is a star, but he didn't ride like one).
A pity to see the teams relegating as nice managers are behind all of them. Though, someone will always have to go down. Hopefully they can rebuild and come back stronger than ever.
I'm thrilled about 4th place, eventhough the thought of what could have been with a Ponzi-esque performance from Boasson Hagen in the hilly classics is tempting. But having our four captains in the top 40 in the individual ranking tellsthat our three other leaders' season have been great, especially Martin's.
Only obvious problem is renewals, but oh well... |

Heartbreak for SN, relief for SotD who after years of crazy, meticulous planning finally gets the win. Congrats!
As I've already said a couple of times, this season was all about survival, and I'm happy we managed that. Others didn't quite expect us to stay up, but I never really doubted it.
That said, I'm still a little sad that I had to sell out of the team's future in order to secure another season in the Pro Tour. On the other hand, we still have a nice solid base with Quintana returning as a top rider and Kamyshev taking another step towards COB greatness - and a French top leader in Sicard.
I also want to echo want SotD and others have said: I really, really appreciate the pace we've been going through the season with. Amazing. And in general, kudos to everyone involved in running the game. Top job. |

Have to admit I haven't followed much of the PT but I read some races here and there and, well, I've seen some great races. Pluchkin the most obvious, but then I started seeing that Bewley name everywhere
Anyway, feel bad for SN but that's the game and big congratulations to SotD for winning this year's ranking.
I hope I can follow more of the PT next season and perhaps one day join it myself. |

Thanks for four memorable seasons in the Man-Game! My team has had some good moments throughout the years, with Di Maggio's GC win in Tour Meditteraneen 2012 being my personal highlight. It's a little sad to no longer be a part of this circus, but nevertheless I think I will enjoy following it from the sideline in the future!
Congrats to SotD for the title win and a late thanks to all the reporters for your hard work this year!

Interesting stats, very interesting. Pendle definitely scoring above "the standards", but it's been a good way for a few more teams to score about 100-250pts, that other teams were missing at the end. Happy with Oz there, even though i should have kept Del Nero to score a few more points here!

Looking at the fact that I got the 2nd worst possible list of races, I am pretty happy with the outcome, but I could have done extremely well if I would have gotten hills and/or cobbles instead.
Sprints needs to be looked at imo, as sprinters would get little chance to score any points at all.
The HC ranking points almost made the difference between Vesuvio and Festina though...

Metinvest was choosing the bands first and still it brought us only minor points, i probably knew that we lack useful riders for this system, when i was against the idea at the first place.
If the stat caps for riders should stay the same, we will very likely suck again, as it only depends on breakaway luck, when you riders are level under PCT standard...
Thanks for the info though!

I like that ranking more than the other one
Disagree that there was little chance for anyone apart from breakaways though. Sure, Pendleton's got lucky (except from maybe Valverde), but my top two scorers from HC races would have been Kadri and Petit - neither of whom gained points from breaks. |

I relegated on that list as well
Nice to see that info, it is possible to gain good points, you just need a lot of luck :-p
