You can make a case for any guy on that list, but just guys that have been caught, I see two of them on that list. And no, I'm not counting Di Luca.

Contador dropped Soler in every mountain stage in which they were together...

English speaking audiences have huge problems with names that have an "e" followed by an "i". it's not just Pereiro in cycling. Most times they'll spell it backwards. It's Paulo Ferreira in Football, Mike Ribeiro in Hockey, etc.
It's okay. We have similar problems with other names, so...

Who are you thinking of CrueTrue...
Also, guys that were caught a while ago, and appear to be clean now I don't count as dopeheads. |

Yeah, I know, just commenting

depends on your definition of "appear". How I understand that "appear to be clean" sentence, I still rank the same two guys exactly as I put them

Yeah like 10 stages in when Soler was worn out because he's not a long race kind of gut unlike Contador. If you put them both on a mountain when there fully rested and no help to get them up that mountain, Soler will win.

you mean like in the first mountain stage where Soler lost 5:17 to Contador despite Contador losing time with a puncture?
EDIT: the other hole in that theory is that Soler had his best day 17 days into the Tour.

again, it depends wildly of your definition of who suspects them

I forgot, did Contador officially win the Mountains, and Soler just wear the jersey (I'm pretty sure this isn't the case)? |

Soler won with quite some lead, but that's hardly a best climber competition.
It's about who is the best climber among those who aren't in contention for the overall, as those are the only ones that the pack lets go on a breakaway on a big mountain stage (which is the only way to win that jersey)

I know, but it still counts for something, and Soler was keeping up with the big names on most of the stages. |

He got into a breakaway on the stage to Briançon, so I'm discounting that one. Looking at all the other mountain stages, he lost 37 seconds on one, 5:37 on another, 3:29 on another, and 1:25 on another. Great for a first time, but not really keeping up

Di Luca got a sentence just 3 months ago. It wasn't for doping, but for being in contact with a doping doctor. And how, he's got a 2 year suspension hanging over his head. If that isn't "under suspicion", I don't know what is.
Anyway, it doesn't matter. The best climber in Pro Cycling Manager is, according to pretty much all DB-makers, Alberto Contador. |
