I received this from Cycling Manager Hungary for about a week ago. So, Portuguese people, you're not the only ones requesting teams
Dear PCM Daily!
I am writing to you on Cycling Manager Hungaryr17;s behalf. Cycling Manager Hungary is a Hungarian Cycling Manager fanclub with about 50 people.
We have read that on PCMDaily, that you are making a 2008 patch to Pro Cycling Manager 2007. We would like to tell some ideas about this patch. We have read the teamlist, and we realized sadly that only one Hungarian Continental Team the P-NÃvó-Betonexpressz had not got place in your patch in the face of this teamr17;s good results (f.e. 5th position in General Classification on Trofeo ZSSDI by Péter Kusztor in 2008, 2nd position on Beograd Banja Luka by Zsolt Dér, Tour of Turkey victory by Zoltán Remák, White Jersey on Serbian Tour by István Cziráki in 2007, in addition plenty of Hungarian victories by this team and so on..)
My first question is that, if we send you every information about P-NÃvó-Betonexpressz (about the team and its riders) and graphic complementary (jersey, helmet, frame-painting, photos from riders, water-bottle and anything what is necessary) would it be possible, that our team, the P-NÃvó-Betonexpressz 2000-Corratec team could be included in PCMDailyr17;s patch? In addition to this we would like to send you the level drawing of Hungarian Road Race and Time Trial Championship. Will it be possible that you would put it to your patch? And one more question and request. If it is not a huge work, could you put Hungarian Youth Scouting into your patch? It will signify a lot to Hungarian Players.
We would every help to Hungarian things. So your work will be to say us what kind of datas you need for, and after we send them to you put those into your database.
Of course we are not requiring this for free. We have thought that we collect the Hungarian community, and than we will help with making a lot of rider-pictures to those teams what are missing yet. If you need for other kind of work in exchange, we take them gladly!
We thanks for your answer in advance!
Yours sincerely: on Cycling Manager Hungaryr17;s behalf: Emil Péter Hegyi, Tamás Sándor, Gábor Sipos |

Well, if they're offering to help do it, that's pretty decent of them

At least the Hungarian scout feature would be very good.

That's just what I'd like to see from every single country. Pure passion.
The 97th team it will be. Count on them to be in, guys. |

Good luck guys, it's a hell of a job but i'm very sure you will do great.
Ive got one question, most of the teams are european but maybe you guys can consider some South-american teams like Colombia es passion etc.
Or are you going to put them as free agents in the game?
(sorry for my bad english) |

We are mostly focussing on British and American teams, because that's where our members are from |

What they did for the spain 07 DB is put a lot of the riders from teams not in the DB as free agents, so it wouldn't be too hard to race as a team doing South American races, and to sign those riders. This is of course presuming they put in lots of free riders.

The teamslists is definately closed. We did this before in the PCM-Spain 2007 DB development: the original list had 96 teams, but we expanded to 103 at the end. Now it's sure this won't go further. About the FA's-thing: the riders who were into the 2007 DB and didn't get a team for 2008 will be in as FA (or, at least, most of them). |

why there isn't included team Rietumu Bank-Riga?
last year they were in top30 in continental.
and this season their manager is Jaan KIRSIPUU and one of riders is former belgian champion Ludovic CAPELLE...
They also have latvian national champion in their squad |

Its also the fact that no one has ever made a DB before that has more British and American teams and races than normal (Ignoring PPDB who are now adding seemingly every team and race into their 2008 PCM06 db)

As SN said, it's primarily an American/British-focused DB. Because I'm Danish I managed to sneak in GLS and Designa, though, so we're lucky they are even there at all |

And it must be bigger. If you can overtake the limit or if there is no limit of stages on the next game, you all should think about putting again some Colombian and specially more European teams.
The majority of the visitors can be american, british, australian, whatever, but the most solid colaboration you see is from the european community. Telling the truth, I would prefer a thousand times a Colombian race and team, or even another Danish team instead of, for example, Team Bissell, but if there is a limit in stages, I perfectly understand your work and I can just keep looking forward to it.B)
