Well, for some people nationality does matter yes. I remember myself being unreasonable with Gesink stat suggestions when I was new to the site
Nerz is almost 26. The other guys have a good chance, and I aknowledge that with their good potentials
Although Herklotz seems to stagnate a little lately(hope Cio93 doesn't read this )
Honestly none of them will be a huge GT threat I'm afraid. I know how you Germans are hoping for one though
I think you will be maybe surprised by Nerz in the future. It is not so long where certain mr. König raised from now Bora-Argon 18 to Tour de France top10, being also 25 years old. Some guys just take the way of long steady progression instead of storming into WT.
Nerz can be a top10 Tour material for me.

I have to say Cannondale's riders stats are mostly good.
I'm only not sure if Andre Cardoso really should be a point on MO lower than Dombrowski, Formolo and Acevedo. But well, maybe that's right, since he doesn't have any stand-out results in one-week races recently, but then he should have a significant REC advantage over them, since he is much more consistent than them in big stage races.
And I think Marangoni (CO66 in database) is better cobble rider than Ted King (CO68 in database). Just look at their results in the last 2 years in cobbled races. That should be fixed IMO.
Possibly Ben King could be upgraded to 70 MO. 29th on TdS queen stage, 17th overall in California, And last year top50 in some of TdF mountain stages and 21th overall in Tirreno.
And maybe Alex Howes is a bit overpowered. But he was good last season, so maybe it's ok to wait one more season before downgrading him a bit.
But then, no way the difference between Alex and Ben ever in the last 2 years was as big as 4 points in MO. |

Oh, and I forgot. Zepuntke could be a bit more than 64 MO. He was 18th overall in USA Pro Cycling Challenge. |

@Anderis
Thank you.
@Cio
Well that was not one of the options
@Avin @Aizak @Lanxess
We'll see. König doing that doesn't guarentee Nerz doing that, you know. Of course there is a chance. No Top 10 this Tour though.
Or well I like to quote Riis here.

Look up Dominik Nerz in the dictionary and you'll get mediocre.
I have no clue about Buchmann, but those Germans believing Nerz will top-10.... yeah, not gonna happen unless over half the field crashes or suddenly get exposed to Ebola
Nerz recieved a small upgrade in the V0.6 though.

When thinking about Howes, something like MO 72 HI 73 or even MO 71 HI 73 seems to be right. He usually tends to go better on smaller climbs. |

One small opinion on LTB. VDB has proven in three consecutive TTs that he deserves an upgrade. The opposite can be said of De Gendt, though I'd wait 'til Saturday to draw conclusions.
So probably 75TT for VDB and 74TT for De Gendt. PRL is a different matter though... |

Kwiatkowski should have at least 80 downhill. He is unstoppable on the descents. |

I think Floris Gerts (BMC u23) deserves a major STA boost, and maybe a HI boost to 69, CB boost to about 67 and a SPR upgrade to 66
Nick van der Lijke could use a small REC boost, to 68-70, and a MO of 66/67, after a good Giro.

Is the nationality bonus working in this year's edition, as I know in previous editions it wasn't really.
For example in today's prologue at the Tour the amount of good performances by Dutch riders like Mollema, Gesink, Van Baarle and Van Emden was impressive, which of course was down to trhem giving an extra effort on home soil, so if the nationality bonus isn't working then that wouldn't happen in the game. |

Cyanide told me there is none, but there's plenty of stuff(like Man-Game reports) making me doubt about that.
On the other hand, not really a reason to doubt cyanide on this, surely they know their own game

I think Sagan should get a little bit more sprint (80/81).
last year he always got blown away in the sprints but this year he was always fast, look how close he got today even though he worked a bit in the front group, got puncture and had to do an effort to get back and started the sprint in 3rd place.
He doesn't win much bunch sprints this year because he doesn't have a team to lead him out but he always sprints at least as fast as the winner. |
