Just checked the database on Stage 3 and it worked find - Matt Booth (Smoothie) took 4th! It was with lower key teams and riders than the proper thing though. |

Actually, in real life there's a road almost to the top.

13.8 km, average 9.3 %. Pretty steep! |

been there and it takes ca. 3 hours from where the road stops (1841m.) to the peak(2469 m.) . So I`d say that the road is not almost at the top , far off.

You actually are - i just missed your result in Stage 1.
Stage 2 - The Crucial Mountain Stage
Holt, Millard, England, Kittel, Eltink, Wegelius and Marc Schleck were part of the first skirmish. At 6.5km to go Jorg Jaksche led the first attack of the main cotnendors.
With 3km to go the groups were beginning to form.
Jorg Jaksche; Frank Schleck, Tomas Lovkvist @ 41; Justin England @ 1'06; Theo Eltink, Andy Schleck and Vladimir Karpets @ 1'19; Charly Wegelius + Simon Holt @ 1'41; 9 riders including David Millar @ 1'54.
With 2km to go Schleck and Lovkvist had caught Jaksche.
With 1km to go Schleck had broken clear.
With 0km to go, Frank Schleck wins!

Stage 3
The same hill is repeated 3 times - it isnt cobbled unfortunately but its still tough - a tougher climb than yesterday - but shorter.
Di Gregorio, Eltink, Schuler, Moos, England and Holt all broke clear on the first time up and still led after the 2nd climb.
With 1km to go Remy di Gregoris leads over Schuler. With England + Moos still ahead of the pack.
500 metres later, Justin England, the American, was beginning to close in on Di Gregorio - with the attacks from the main leaders beginning behind - led by Charly Wegelius.
You can see how steep the climb is as England gives it everything - while Frank Schleck holds Lovkvist's wheel.
Could di Gregorio hold on?
Yes! Just! Justin England 2nd, Alexandre Moos 3rd.
Schleck just edges past Lovkvist to take 4th.
