All teams have now made their choices, and the places have been allocated. 12 teams have received their 1st choice band, but at the other end of the scale 2 teams will be forced to settle for their 5th choice.
Most PT teams have completed their renewals, but some haven't - so I won't reveal this band information until their renewals are completed.

The choices are in, and here are the results. Thanks to wacko for collecting all of the selections.
First Choices
Band 1
2 spaces available, and 4 teams made it their top choice. Ayubowan! and Swisscom - UBS are awarded the places, which means the Swiss team will be part of the Tour of Romandie field.
Band 2
6 spaces available, and with only 4 teams making it their first choice, they all get in. Good news for Oz Cycling Project, Bouygues Telecom, Tinkoff Bank - Tinkoff Insurance and Vesuvio - Accumalux. Great news for the local fans at the Down Under Classic!
Band 3
Bacardi Limited were the only team to make this their first choice, so in they go.
Band 4
Just the 1 place left here, but that place was in high demand - 9 teams wanted it. The lucky team is Meiji - JR East, who clearly were keen to ride this year's Japan Cup!
Band 5
Another band with only 1 team making it their first choice, Pendleton's.
Band 6
A perfect fit with 3 teams wanting the band, and 3 spaces being available. Metinvest - Dacia, Aker - MOT and Red Bull - Huawei. The new Huawei link at Red Bull will be pleased to participate in the Tour of Beijing.
Second Choices
Band 2
2 spaces left now and 4 of the remaining teams wanted it. Newly promoted Quickstep will be in this band, alongside Volkswagen - Andritz - both teams have a regional interest amongst the races in here.
Band 5
Orange - KLM become the 2nd team to slot into this band.
Third Choices
Band 3
Movistar - US Postal and Project 1t4i join Bacardi in this mountainous band.
Band 5
The next team in here are Becherovka - Petrof.
Fourth Choices
Band 3
Good Energy are not a team known for a love of mountains, but this is what they've been given.
Band 5
The fourth team for this band are Pokerstars.com.
Fifth Choices
Band 3
If it's any consolation for Festina – Canal+, there is a French race in this band: Corsica International.
Band 5
The last team to receive their HC band are Venchi.

Very nice to get a chance to ride against Volkswagen again. In HC bands though I hope to be the lucky one in the end.  |

Glad to see I got my first choice. Not so glad to see so many PT teams with me, especially a lot of the strongest ones. Band 2 is going to be challenging

Well this should certainly spice up the start-lists and add further uncertainity to results. Full fields get a major thumbs up from me - good competition, and hopefully it helps AI operate at its best (yes, I know this is a low bar to set!).

Happy to get my first choice. I initially thought of taking another band as my first choice, but seeing as it turned out to be the most popular one, i'm glad i'll be staying away from there .

Movistar in the band with myself and ONCE means 3 out of 4 PCT/PT Spanish teams will be in those 4 stage races.
