Those Grand Tour goals are definitely a big risk! Especially as we're yet to know if those top class stage racers will have enough race days to do two GTs. I mean, right now, Pluchkin and Madrazo are on 40 race days with Phinney and Tenorio on 43, but that could very well change according to the DB thread.

Fingers crossed you get what you want and what you need for those two goals in the transfer season, good luck!

SN did say, though, that riders with less than 42 racedays would still be able to ride 2 Grand Tours. So a rider like Pluchkin could potentially do what is asked from him, but even if Pluchkin is one of the best riders in the game it is very uncertain that he will actually be able to win either the Giro or the Vuelta. Madrazo/Tenorio would look good for the Vuelta, while both could struggle to podium in the Tour.

Thanks a lot Ember and others, i know it is a big risk, but i feel that even with missing the two toughest goals, we can still have a at least 3/5 if things go right. I was playing it safe for few seasons now, so it is about time to risk a bit. Smile

And i am pretty sure that SN wrote somewhere that even when riders are under 42 race days, they can still ride two GTs, but nothing else. Wink

Ah, I missed that, my mistake Smile

And I like that you go with some ambitious goals. It's also quite obvious that you'll be in the mix for both GT goals if you're able to get the rider you want, and you can't really do much more pre-race to succeed.

I am now very scared to see who you are going for in the transfer season. Hopefully our targets are different Pfft

Renewals 2014-2015

The contract negotiations with our riders has finished recently and the management can say that we are happy with how it went. Majority of the team remained and talks were done in friendly atmosphere. Only two riders were released to free agency, as we felt they are not strong enough to help us in our PT adventure, however we would like to thank them for their services, good luck in next possible career!

So lets reveal the wages for 2015 season, combined with potential availaibility, transfers here we come.

Popovych...

As you might've predicted we could be willing to loan in Petrovski if the deal would seem right. He's not a useless rider and we would like to continue our friendly, almost co-orperational style of communicating.

Gif party, hooray. Grin

Anyway, Hoffman could be only available after finding the solid replacement,so anything can happen with him. Our african friends will be surely first to know, if his status should change. Wink

Dream coming through!

As the real cycling fans know, we are currently experiencing the 2014/2015 transfer season and Metinvest -Dacia is trying to strengten the squad prior to the historical entrance to PT.

We decided that our priority is bringing in the experienced star of cycling, preferably stage racer from our focused region. With these conditions, it was always going to be about one name, the moldavian prodigy and GT overall win hunter (without success so far), Aleksandr Pluchkin!

After intense fight with certain rival manager, also entering PT, we have managed to secure services of moldavian star stage racer. We had to offer him record wage of man-game history, whooping 1.550 000 Euros per year!

That is a lot of money, but we hope that Aleksandr is rider worth the price, as one of the worlds best stage racers. He can help us in battling for uknown heights of GT podium. we are all very excited with his arrival, expect a lot of marketing stuff coming also to your town within the next few weeks. Grin

Metinvest - Dacia management is currently finalising the deals with other managers and we hope to be able to inform you about the other new arrivals soon.

Great job. Obviously a very steep price to pay, but having an 85 MO climber should help out any newly promoted PCT team in staying out of the relegation zone.

Gratz, mate! Will second valv's comment. Definitely pleasant to have a beast on board Wink

Avin Wargunnson
Thanks guys, we are absolutely excited about this signing obviously. We would never give up on chance to sign rider like Pluchkin, one of the best eastern europeans in the database. Smile

Italian stallion joins Metinvest!

Just an hour ago, we were able to finalise the deal with our dear partners at Ayubowan, which results in the arrival of italian sprinter Andrea Guardini to Metinvest - Dacia team.

Andrea was our target for few months, we were monitoring him on his loan to Rothaus-Aegon in the year 2014 and obtaining his services was second big goal prior to this transfer season.

www.feltet.dk/octo_cms/files/Feltet.dk/Billeder/2013/Lob/Tour_Down_Under/Praesentation/Andrea_Guardini_.jpg

Main purpose of this signing is to strengten our sprinting department, where Guardini should guide our romanian supertalent Eduard Grosu on his way to top of the PT sprinting game. Andrea will of course ride for himself in majority of races as the fastest man in the team.

We are still not fully decided in which races you wiill have to see him leading our team, but his gome grand tour, Giro d' Italia, looks like obvious option for now.

Although I doubt Pluchkin alone will save you, he's an excellent signing who should bring you massive points.

Guardini, another good signing. Maybe won't win much, but at least he'll bring some points in

Thanks Selwink, i agree with your thoughts on both Pluchkin and Guardini, i am happy that both are from our focused countiries/region. However we still have other possible point scorers to add to these two, like Ignatiev and maybe yet unrevealed rider or two, so i am optimistic so far about our transfer season.

Nice signings... Pluchkin on a massive wage, but I do think you have a decent, and well rounded team, so it might be enough to stay clear - and that really is all you need, because of the way the talents are coming along, combined with the fact that Pluchkin will go down in wages next season.
