With the Copenhagen Malmo TTT also being held today, it's just one of those nice days for trimetrial-specialists to shine
The 1-2 I had hoped for, so well done, team. Thus short prologues can be tricky, so I'm happy to avoid any close loss and take the most expected stage win when nominating my squad. Bash!
Now for the more important sprints though: Goss most recent stage race (Danmark) was a true disaster for him (while not for our team), but Faso's definitely not a race where you waste your time by not competing with the very best!

Kiflay, you beaut! That was unexpected. Now hopefully he can somehow preserve a good GC and stay up there in the Best Young Rider. I thought of selling him to SN in transfers if I go to CT, but I reckon I'll keep him now.
Now bring on the sprints

Meh, I was hoping to at least get white. Oh well, if there's 20 seconds tomorrow, the winner will definitely get yellow, so that has to be what we're going for hard now.
Subsequently, having the GC lead into the cobbles stage could be a huge difference, so actually any bonus seconds count for now. It's going to be a long week and a half.

Allianz continuing to ease themselves to safety. Hornbach pick up 1 point for 8th place, 82points now needed

Well, there was always going to be two stages up today after that short prologue.
If anyone is up for some calculating feel free to say so as the ranking points still need to be done for this race. |

Goss and Maksimov not with their best day (once more).
Still the competition is huge here and while Napolitano and Ciolek could have expected high there, Hoffman with yet another huge result. |

It's going to be interesting to see how the strong field handles pretty much completely flat stages with no heavy crosswinds. That doesn't really ever happen in practice. In all likelihood it'll just be straightforward break-catch-sprint, but we'll see. Nice start for Oz and for Cioleck. |

Hell yeah Giaux is on fire!
Though I slowly fear Ciolek's renewals...I didn't plan that much wage in for him.
Also guys, if Giaux is giving you nightmares, let me tell you I'll have at least two even better leadouts beside him in Bar and Lander next season

Awesome to see Okbamariam mentioned. Our Eritrean cobbler trainee did well although the team messed up bad in the end. Not disappointed though less points cheaper wage at this point with how rankings stand.

Yeah in the end we all just want to finish in our target position with 1 point more than the next team

Goss in Danmark mode? Would be horrible here...
At least nice to Ford fighting for his yellow. But now some better sprints please!

It's funny even the teams with many successes have their bogeyman!
Great sprinters field here - ciolek giving timely reminder after cio93's return
Cobbles coming up - though a strange one with cobbles early on.

Well, Serebriakov did exactly what he's best at. Again. Sigh

2nd is good. I guess theres no chance we promote anyway, so any good results will just mean a potentially higher wage for my riders.

Hoffman with very good form in recent weeks, 3rd in this field is great, he has to have secret positioning stat, because he tends to get great wheels.
Now up to 4th in GC, that is great. Cobbles will hurt though...
Thanks for the report and congrats to Puma!

The positioning was better this stage for Serebriakov. Surely the cobbles in the beginning of the stage must have had an impact on his performance. If he keeps on positioning well in the upcoming stages he might pick up some top-5s.
