Santos Tour Down Under Pre-Race
Kerrie Yaxley, Australia:
The teams have been training hard the last few days here in Australia in preparation for the first race of the season. 17 of the 18 PCM League main teams showed up with the exception of Team Portugal, who feels that they are not quite ready yet to race. They will remain home for the race and train.
Team captain issoisso said that he is not concerned about missing the race as there are plenty of other opportunities for them.
There will be 4 wild card teams, teams that do not earn points in the main classification, but other riders from PCM.Daily taking a hobby of cycling that formed a team. Who knows what these teams could accomplish further down the road.

I like the way everyone is taking this story so far. The point is for members to sort of "make it how they want". If they aren't racing, hell, they are wherever they want to be.. valv is drinking with aussies, Avin on the cobbles. Just don't let the captains get upset with you
With that being said, there will be more of a story aspect as the season progresses, the first race report will be up later today/tonight American time, so anywhere from 10-14 hours from now!
