Really nice to see my team managed to place a single rider in the front group.
Oh. Wait. No they didn't.

I'm hoping to see Costa on the front here. Can't ask for more than that, given the field, but I think he can be asked to at least try. Stage 6 should be perfect for him, but let's see what he's worth tomorrow.
Interesting first stage, but hopeully the next one will see some attacks from the top-class puncheurs.

Too bad Sagan didn't wait to start his sprint a little bit longer... Otherwise nice to see my team trying to control the race. It would be nice to see if the next stage's ratio between HIL and MO could be at least decent for mountain riders though, it will be the crucial stage for Velits' chances here.

Anonymous day for the SRB boys, hope we can a little more active in breaks if possible really.
It is nice to have five in front group I guess but I guess that means one of the weaker riders will get in the break if anyone.

This was a pretty active ride by Keizer for a hilly stage. Losing a bit more time as hoped in the end but nothing that cant be gained again in the timetrial. |

Perfect! Really great to see Schleck just ride everyone off his wheel at the finish there, and gain time as well as bonus seconds. Taking the race lead into the TT would be really big for trying to secure a Top 5 GC finish, although I can see EBH taking time bonuses over the next stages.

Really well done by Monsalve, if he can keep this placement it will be my best (relative) result this season and really give me hope about next season

22nd is a great result for Pierre-Henri Lecuisinier. It is his first ever race as a team leader for us, and despite not being at all good enough for a good GC, he manages to stay inside the top 25. The hills was always going to be the most difficult for him to stay out of trouble in. 75MO stat is probably not enough to stay inside top 25 after the mountainstage, but I do have a slight hope that I could be.
Now it is time for Guerao to fail miserably - Oh and, Tom David is clearly injured, which is really too bad, as he could be a good man to have in the early leadout.

Okay, stage-hunting then Bad hoped for a better showing by Bobridge, but at least Del Nero was active in the breakaway.

Not a good stage. Now even the podium could be in danger for Robert. It's to have the teams classification for the moment though and it looks like Ruijgh is set to ride a good GC as well.

Happy with Roche again, 3rd place before couple of flat stages is perfect. Seeing on those profiles, I´m a bit afraid it could be difficult for Mohs to deliver some remarkable results, though.

Good result from Velits! Now only TT left before the stage where he hopefully can go for a stage win and a podium GC result. Looking good so far.

Ah, so close to keeping the jersey! But congrats to SN, Schleck was by far the strongest.
A pity thinking of the TT, as I strongly doubt Boasson Hagen will grab bonus seconds on the coming stages. I'm actually looking forward to see if Holst Enger will try to sprint, if that's the case it will be his first chance ever in our jersey for a good result on his own.
Thanks for the report, having two the same day is definitely nice. |

Invisible Goss, not cool. Kinda strange, but thrilling finish there, but except of a crash, no sign of Oz here. Please do a better job on further days.... i'm talking to you, Gossy!

Really interesting to see battle of lead-out men here. Stage win for Roger Kluge is absolutely fantastic!

Good to see Breen in the breakaway, and he got a fair amount of mountain points as well, which is always nice. Hopefully we can keep on attacking, as the mass sprints don't look to be anything for us this race judging from the final kilometers on stage 3.

Guerao sick sad ever, while Tzortzakis did well. Gueraos wage must come down again if he doesn't start performing soon.
