The lead out train comes good and we get a nice 2nd place now turning that into a win has to be the next step but much improved over the first stage. |

Top 10 is something... But in races with a strong headwind Vaitkus should alwyas be my main man...

Good job by Vangenechten! Loving our offensive mentality lately.

Bennett!!! Great win for him against a strong field. Picked the wheel perfectly.
I probably don't want him in the race lead going into Stage 4 though!

Vanoverschelde continues to amuse me...
Vaitkus is strong tho, probably my best signing this season. Have minor hopes he can keep his top 10...

Well, that much for a chance of a good GC result from Ringheim or Declerq
PCM14 anyone?
Bar with a really nice last straight there to get us points, but I guess with 50th in GC still giving 5 points, we lost more than those 4 points with the split making today very ambivalent.

So far so good. Zico showing the jersey nicely today ready.
Tomorrow I expect the finest Quickstep stage this year. Most perfect stage, if they mess up I will be...
Thx for the speed of reports Sykkel once again. Terrific job.

We seem super strong in these sprint stages just failing to finish it off most times and finishing 12th 13th and 14th isn't helpful |

Hutarovich showing the colours finishing 4th on stage 2.
I think my planning of the season could have been better, especially with Cavendish.

Paride Grillo is on good form here in France a 2nd, 6th and 3rd on the first 3 flat/sprint stages. That consistency has put him in the points jersey for the hilly 4th stage.
Timing for taking the points lead was perfect. On stage 4 we need a man in the breakaway to make sure Grillo's points lead is not eroded. Looks like a job for the French 1st year pro Arnaud Godet to ride hard for his team and the French fans.
Tomorrow will be a difficult day for the AMEX riders as we sent 5 sprinters here. We need Michael Kurth to help Grillo over the climbs and for Godet to protect the points lead.
Solid effort so far, but now our attention has to be shifted to Spain were the AMEX cobble squad is assembled to defend their 2013 win by Matti Breschel.
Team manager give his riders final instructions for tomorrow's hills stage and then heads for the airport and a quick flight to Avila, Spain.

A quite interesting race for Oz, I think. At least, I did hope so when planning the season Especially Visconti, but maybe also Del Nero, could do something nice on that fourth stage now. Hills plus cobbles, something that suits both quite well. Hoping for Visconti to show some aggressive racing there. His Top-10 in the first stage may be a good sign of that to come.

Nope.
Was expected tho, Vaitkus isn't great over hills, and his cobble skills aren't great either.

Downside: That race sucked for us. Missing a goal in the worst way possible
Upside: Crap results mean cheaper wages when we relegate

That went weirdly well. It didn't cross my mind that Holloway would hang in the group on this stage.

This! Excellent podium finish for Visconti, thanks to aggressive racing, which i was hoping for. Too bad he couldn't hang on for 2nd, but if he avoids trouble on final stage, i will be more than happy. Seems i finally assigned him to the right races this year and i'm glad i decided to keep him on the roster despite some interest from a few other managers
Also Del Nero did well. Really hoping for a quiet final day though

A long day for AMEX, but it was expected. Michael Kurth finishing 38th was our best finish. The best news of the day was that Paride Grillo held on to the Points jersey heading into the races final sprint stage. A good ride by the team tomorrow and Grillo will win the points classification.

Oh for fuck's sake.
Waeytens is not a better rider than Giaux.
Van Asbroeck is not a better rider than Giaux.
Meersman is not a better rider than Giaux.
Kvist is not a better rider than Giaux.
Holloway is not a better rider than Giaux.
What will we get out of this race? 7 points? 1.5pprd in a HC race?
