Coppa Costa degli Etruschi - The Race
Starting the race in San Vincenzo Klemen Stimulak tried a lot of attacks to take part in the breakaway.
But no group could get away for 20 km. At that point Stimulak had a Moment with less power when a group of three riders got away. In there were R.Pichetta(Idea), Y.Monsalve(Neri Sottoli) and G.Ocanha(Marciol). This group was quite easy to control for OPQS and Astana. They had a max. gap of 5:30 with 92 km to go, which went down to two minutes with 37 to go, when Cameron Meyer(Orica) attacked.
Meyer reached the group with 24 to go and an advantage of about one minute. With 17km to go Meyer left the break and got back to the peloton, so that Pichetta was alone with the peloton half a minute down when Nicki Sorensen(Tinkoff-Saxo) attacked.
Orica and Movistar took the pace-making while Sorensen flew up the hill, left Pichetta behind, and looked nearly as the winner with a 25 second advantage and 11 to go.
Christophe Riblon(AG2R) then decided to pace the Peloton up and bring the pure sprinters in trouble for his man Davide Appollonio. In the 2km to the top of the hill he caught Sorensen. Now we joined the Party to bring on an organized train for the downhill lead by a recovered Stimulak.
Our train worked whel when Per took the front and the favorites had not enough fresh man for a train left or too far behind. Trentin(OPQS), Colbrelli(Bardiani) and Voigt(Trek) were behind Novak and Mugerli. Next to our train Astana managed to organize themself a leadout.
Under the kite Mugerli went as the opponents appeared left and right. He managed to reach P3 with a good speed near the line, issued by having a late sprint.
Matej managed to finish third in Donoratico, behind Matteo Trentin(OPQS) and Oscar Gatto(Cannondale)
Result

We can be really happy with that third place. The train with two new young man worked excellent. Four man, all enjoying sprints on hilly terrain, is a good indicator for a lead-out-train in these bumpy or hilly Italian classics with a bunch sprint.
But we were also lucky that our opponents burned their man and didn´t let one ore more go. An attack on the last hill maybe would have meant the victory for a strong WT rider.

@547984 - ...
@Croatia14 - I am really impressed by quality of reports. There are few things here and there that can be improved and can look a bit better, but that will come with the time. Great start of the season from boys!
You may consider removing green circles from screenshots (press ' key, left to enter) and using tables for squad presentation (they'll make it look clean and better), but as I said, that will come with the time. Keep this up!

Tour do Brasil/Volta Ciclística de São Paulo - Internacional (2.2)
Expectation
The Volta de Sao Paolo is for my leaders just a harder training for the next european races. Tomasz Nose will ride for a good place in GC, but the race should be not hard enough for him. With no big ambitions there are no real domestiques, so everyone can look for a result by going into a breakaway. Aljaz Hocevar can sprint if Mugerli doesn´t feel really good one day.
Team Presentation
Leader | Nose | Sprinter | Hocevar | Breakaway | Fajt, Stimulak, Novak, Maltar | building up fitness | Rogina, Mugerli |
Route
Race
I had no real ambitions so the first two stages were very calm. I didn´t came into breakaways, and Tomasz and Radoslav managed to stay with the leaders. The time trial on stage three was also without ambitions, but I wanted to test the form of Matej and Radoslav.
Stage 4
Kristjan made it into the break, coming together at the first mountain sprint.
Following the break had a quite small advantage, so Klemen lead Radoslav an attack out, while Matej really suffered through the pace in the peloton.
Gregory Juel Brenes(Jamis-Hagens Berman) countered it and attacked Radoslav away, really showing that Radoslav had to less km in his legs until now. He doesn´t let someone fly away that easy normally.
Nose firstly stayed in the group of favourites,
but then tried to follow Matija Kvasina(Gourmetfein Simplon).
But Kvasina was too strong, he even overtook Rogina.
On the last descent he came across to Rogina and the pair rode the last 10km togetherdown to the finishline, but the first two riders were way too far away. On the last km the peloton even managed to get contact to the two,
so all the effort only reached time bonification for P3 for Tomasz.
In the last stages Tomasz and Radoslav only followed the favourites, mostly having a teammate in the breakaway. On the last flat stages Aljaz had the chances and finished on a good P8 in the sprint of stage 7. The general classification was decided in Stage 4; Brenes took it in front of Kvasina, Freddy Rodriguez(Coldeportes-Claro) finished third because of bonifications and the TT. Tomasz finished 6th and Radoslav on P8, what is quite a good result.

Race
My plan was to have the strongest man of the breakaway and to hope for some differences in the peloton. After some counterattacking Tomasz Nose went on the attack and took Gabriel Rasch(Sky) and Alan Marangoni(Cannondale) with him. Two powerhouses, but they should not be strong enough to follow Tomasz in the mountain.
So the trio rode together with a max. advantage of seven minutes 110km to go. Wanty, AG2R, FDJ and Belkin were really controlling the breakaway, when OPQS and Cannondale joined the chase. So Marangoni refused to ride on top of the break. Tomasz and his other companion then rode to the third big hill, then Tomasz increased the pace with 73km to go. Rasch was dropped quickly, and Marangoni suffered a lot until he finally lost contact near the top of the hill.
The peloton raced really hard, so Nose got cought with 12 km to go after the last big hill.
Two steep short ramps were still coming. Matej told, he was in stunning form so he should counterattack the favourites with Radoslav going on the first punch and the also great feeling Novak waiting in the peloton to sprint if all attacks get cought back. So Radosav attacked on the first ramp, but with Vichot(FDJ) and Kiserlovski(Trek) on his wheel he decided not to go further. On the second ramp Moser(Cannondale) tried to go, pulling Vichot with him, and got counterattacked by the strong frenchman. Matej and all the other who tried couldn´t follow Vichots attack.
Matej stayed in a good position in a group of twenty riders containing Radoslav, who went out of power. Novak was in the group behind sprinting for minor places, but Mugerli took it early to catch up with Vichot, but at least no one could reach him celebrating his victory on the line
In the sprint behind Marcato(Cannondale) took second in front of Leukemans(Wanty) and Matej. With another great effort he managed to get P4 directly before Taborre(Neri Sottoli), who had a strong pace on the finish line.

Goals
Without our 3 leaders Mugeli, Nose and Rogina and injured Fajt our 5 talents want to serve Aljaz Hocevar a sprinting chance.
Impressions
We didn´t took part in the breakaway, because we need all six riders to stay fresh and create a train. Roubaix-Lille controlled the race for M.Vantomme until the breakaway got cought. In a Moment of slowing down Buchacek(Bauknecht) decideded to attack, and a moment later Wisniowski(Etixx) tried to follow. No one took the pace in the peloton until we put our train on earlier than we wanted to, just to have a chance of bringen the couple upfront back.
Our train really put the hurt on most of the riders, only around ten hang on to follow our train. But in the end we couldn´t stop Buchacek finishing a nice solo attack and Wisniowski becoming second. But Hocevar sprinted for P3, at the end he reached P4, which is a really well result for him and our young team in Morocco.
