So basically, heres what we could have:
Sprinters
Cavendish / Eisel / Ciolek (Id suggest Eisel + Cavendish)
Dean Downing (With the possibility of Russel Downing)
We only need 3 or 4 Max.
Climbers
Igor Anton
Mike Rogers
Alberto Contador
With support from:
Charly Wegelius
David Arroyo
Beloki maybe?
Hills
David Millar (2nd in Paris-Nice) (Also Brilliant TT)
The Climbers
Pozzato / Weening / Nibali (Id go for Weening)
Cobbles
Possibility of Roger Hammond
Eisel
Time Trials
Steve Cummings
Domestiques / Young Riders
Ross Muir
Matt Talbot
Giancarlo Checci
Ben Price
Richard Wilkinson
Marc John
Bjørn Johnson
Adam Richardson
Josh Crompton
Matt Booth
Peter Kennaugh
Alex Dowsett
David O'Loughlin
Is that not a strong enough squad? |

I would say that probably is strong enough if we take two out of the Pozzato/Weening/Nibali option. Then we should be able to compete quite nicely in the ProTour, although we aren't that strong: will be in a couple of years though!

yes we have tremendous potential should be enough to stay in the ProTour and then next season or the season after we'll be the driving force of the peleton |

So we want to have Hammond, Beloki, Weening and Pozzato? Then the team will be complete. |

Are we getting Cavendish and Eisel then out of the sprint choices (I'd prefer these two)

Spiuk have requested the signing of spaniard Jesus Ramirez Torres. He won Paris - Troyes and is ranked 70th in the continental rankings. But why him? Torres is the team leader for the Spiuk - Extramedura team and Spiuk would like to see him race in the ProTour. Spiuk would also like Enrique Salgueiro to move up from the Spiuk 'B' team, his 75 MO could come in handy.

you mentioned in your Eurosport career that McEwen's future was uncertain, so i was wondering whether he was available and whether my fellow teamates would consider having him |

McEwen is under offer from the new Aussie ProTour squad, Qantas.
Besides Eisel + Cavendish are more than enough. Hammond + Dean Downing could also do well in sprints and Russel Downing is also veyr well (over)rated if we get him. |

Great news for next year: Cavendish just won Stage 4 of the Vuelta, with Russel Downing 2nd. Downing has now won Stage 6.
The better news as far as Rapha Condor are conserned, is that the Vuelta points arent being added to the ProTour totals, so DFL will not gain any points from the Vuelta, meaning they look doomed to be relegated.

Nope, Plowman Craven need all the few riders they have. Besides, if you see my Eurosport topic, youd see that McCallum would be a good rider to pick - if we were to pick any as he did very well at the worlds. McCauely also rode at the worlds - for Portugal .
DFL are now safe so theres no Russel Downing but with jus ta few races left there could be a disaster for Rapha Condor. Hamish Haynes' win in Paris Bourges has put Jartazi just 76 points away from Rapha Condor in the fight for the 2nd ProTour place. |
