hmmm Thought i couldn't see any of my guys at all during the race so at least a got a full picture at the end haha

AMEXpc's Bernhard Eisel defends his 2013 E3 Prijs win with another sprint finish win in 2014. Once again Matti Breschel's late attack was instrumental in closing down distance for Eisel. Breschel looked like, even after his attack, he had legs for a win sprinting hard and finishing 3rd.

Even cobble newcomer Marko Kump challenged for a top 15 spot ending up 17th. Veteran cobble domestique Michael Kurth fought home in 26th giving AMEX 4 riders in the points. Upping our point total by 236.


Congrats to a super effort by Gert Steegmans, pushing Eisel to the limit for the slimmest of margin win. Quickstep shows their depth of talent dominating the top 10.

Next up on the PCT cobble circuit is the American race the Tour of Battenkill.

Ian a well done first report. Keep them coming.

Sure hope of cobble strength can keep us several notches away from relegation.

Nice time in the break for us with Lagkuti showing the colours in the TV. Nice report and congrats to the winner!

It still hurts me, when i see Steegmans doing good, as we were minutes from securing his services for these type of races. Frown
