Martin is such a beast. Poor Dumoulin
Mollema had the fastest climb btw, 5 seconds faster than Martin. He went almost 3kp/h faster than Pozzovivo f.ex on the climb. So good form it seems. |

It's still not 100% sure that he'll retire then and even if he decides to do so there are 2,5 years to go yet, so it's still "faaar" from this point.

Yeah, of course not 100% sure, that why it's says likely, but from the statements in the article it seems like he has set his eyes quite clearly on it. He talks already about what he could possibly do after cycling.
Two and half years are only 2 more times Paris-Roubaix and Ronde with Cancellara though. Personally I'd like to see him longer of course, he's the benchmark in the classics after all.

Make sense ..most of us remembers younger Cancellara after TT, Roubaix, Flanders. Now he has to ride to half dead every time to be there again.
After 2,5 years..well. He just wont like to be domestique.
Still Jens should continue another 10 years. |

Does he get the KOM jersey for that? |

That'd be logical.
So no.

I don't hate this guy. I mean he is a champion and I feel bad when he suffers so badly. When you are champion you should retire at top before others force you to retire. |

Goos crashed in the descent of today's TT, broke his hip, and still finished the stage.
Sad for him. Finally seemed to get some shape in the giro. Decent talent, but if he keeps crashing and breaking bones he will never make anything of his career. |

Today's stage features a quite mountaineous one with two HC and two category 2 climbs. But the last top is 20 kilometers of the finish. Who will dare to attack and will Tony Martin survive? Seeing as differences in GC are still not too great there's little chance a breakaway will make it.
My favourites for today:
Rui Costa (Lampre - Merida)
Bradley Wiggins (Team Sky)
Sergio Henao (Team Sky)
Domenico Pozzovivo (Ag2r La Mondiale)
Cadel Evans (BMC Racing Team)
Steve Morabito (BMC Racing Team)
Roman Kreuziger (Tinkoff - Saxo)
Fränk Schleck (Trek Factory Racing)
Bauke Mollema (Belkin Pro Cycling Team)
Tom-Jelte Slagter (Garmin - Sharp)
Warren Barguil (Team Giant - Shimano)
Thibaut Pinot (FDJ.fr)
Mathias Frank (IAM Cycling)

True that. Depending on the amount of action from the favourites, guys like Swift and Sagan could potentially survive to sprint for the win. |

Looks like one for Albasini in my eyes. Hard enough for him to beat out better sprinters, easy enough for him to stay upfront. |

Yeah it does have Albasini written all over it, really does depend on if a GC team wants to shake it up or hold off for another stage. Certainly looks like it could be a cracking stage

Tony will easily survive that. BTW Pozzovivo abandoned.

Pozzovivo
Coming all the way to Suisse to pull of an excellent prologue and then going home again. |

Thurau taking a decent KoM lead already winning all three early climbs.
Better up those hard climbs than Hollenstein, Warbasse, Deignan and Cam Meyer, I like how he shows himself on climbs this season

Andy Schleck actually rides well today. And Kreuziger is attacking, nice to see as well.

Fuck. Why was Thurau dropped? Was certain he should win this stage...
