A big fan of both Perez and Urtasun both virtual and in real life , great signings I would like to see someone like Juan Jose Oroz , Oscar Pujol and Jorge Azanza could be what you're looking for ?

Just discovered this one, good luck Atlantius! The first signings are looking cool, I especially like Urtasun. Will surely follow. |

SSJ2Luigi: Garate could be one of the riders deserving a more worthy goodbye, but I'm not sure if I want more veterans. The ones I didn't already have on the shortlist have been added
sgdanny: Thanks. I really think riders like that deserve to say stop themselves instead of failing to find a contract...
Oroz rides for Burgos but the other could be possibilities if I decide to hire another veteran.
fernando97: Thanks, you haven't had a lot of time to discover it either as it only started yesterday

Jasper Bovenhuis and Jonathan Dibben seem like some nice talents. Aitor Galdos could be an addition as veteran.

Selwink: Dibben added to the list of potential candidates (Boevenhuis was already there )
Jesleyh: Pretty sure he'll want to keep his contract with Burgos in stead of joining some random lottery winner
I have a good idea as how the team will end up looking with the next two riders possibly coming up tonight or at least tomorrow morning and the main partner of the project should be announced tomorrow as well. Riders getting mentioned by you guys will get an increased likelihood of getting selected for the team so feel fre to continue naming your favourite (mainly young) FA's from the latest Daily-DB-update...

But... but... I want Del Pino in the squad
What about Toribio?
Or Jordi Simon, if you'd like some young Spanish blood.
And what about Gäel Malacarne? A nice fighter/cobbler.

Having pretty much settled our experienced section of the team was a great advantage in convincing a Norwegian duo to join us.
Sondre Holst Enger (20) is in many ways a rider similar to Urtasun and Pérez in that he is able to both sprint and get over hills so he will be able to learn a lot from them though his talent makes it plausible that he'll be able to outshine them shortly!
Fridtjof Røinås (19) rode with Sondre on Team Plussbank and is also a talented sprinter, though not as stong on hills and not quite as fast yet - partly due to his younger age. Though he is talented in his own right he is also partly signed by request from Enger.
For future signings we will also try our best to make sure that the youngsters have at least one team mate with the same native language.

SSJ2Luigi: Well he was high on my own list as well, but I wont be bringing any more Norwegians ine
Starting to look like a team!
Great news everyone: We have equipment!
First of all we will get some bikes to ride delivered by De Rosa. No fancy paintwork or anything "just" their latest top model off the shelf, which is also a very nice bike!
Secondly we will even have some clothes to wear thanks to Astral Biking, a relatively new Danish manufacturer of high quality cycling clothes. The riders hould be really happy with that as I have a set of their clothes myself and really love it.
Thirdly we have secured a batch of helmets. Not that we expect to crash a lot but the UCI demands it and I agree that it's better to be safe than sorry. We all remember occasions where helmets likely have saved a riders life. Voigts crash in the Tour a couple of years back spring to mind as one occassion at least. The helmets is supplied by Bell by the way.
Last we have the biggest news of them all. A title partner!
I'm not calling them a sponsor as they won't be paying us a cent. Quite the opposite really as they will get the full earnings of any merchandise sales etc.
They will help raise our profile so that we can get in to some interesting races throughout the world, while we hopefully will help inspire people to donate to their tremendous work around the world.
They are: Medecins Sans Frontieres / Doctors Without Borders
Work have started on a jersey that should be available for presentation not too long from now, but first we have to finalize the deal with a few more riders

With the international feel of our Name Partner as announced earlier today we are going after a global feel for the team. So the next two riders have been found roughly 14.500 km southeast from our previous signings:
Caleb Ewan (19) is one of the most promising sprinters in the world. He already has a provisional agreement with Orica - GreenEdge from next year with a possibility of joining his home team already in August, but up till then he will be wearing our colours.
Campbell Flakemore (21) is another of the many young Australian TT'ers around at the time. Hopefully we'll help him follow the others towards greatness, but he will certainly be a great addition for us whenever we face a time-trial.

Enger and Ewan in the same team, two probably biggest sprinting talents in the cycling, at the moment. Might get OP in future if you don't sell one of them.

Yeah, if it's a CT team(which it is), this might quite get OP, possibly, with also Verdugo. Riding mainly big races will solve that though

I understand your worries, but this exact team is a one-year project as the lottery winnings only gave room for that, so odds are that the team will be scattered all over in 2015. Ewan will be leaving for Orica in August anyway so him and Enger won't clash for too long
When the career is started all contracts will eb edited to last one year. The story will genrally follow a manager in the style of one-rider stories. Sometimes a DS will change team as well and in this case the first year will hopefully be a kickstart for him as well as for the riders picked up in the project
Edit: Also the plan is that the three veterans will be used so that one is in each race, but they will generally be in supporting roles as they will double-up as trainers (trainer stats based on their stats as riders) and their declination age will be set to one year lower than their current age.

Just be careful that the team doesn't become to unrealistic , in form of how many different countries your riders will come from and such.
Caleb Ewan is seen in many stories , but will be a great asset to the team
Flakemore is looking quite interesting and good to have him aboard
