The video is rather pointless.
It shows the highlights of the game, in my last story you wanted video and now that you have it you don't want it

My point was that the report covered everything in the video already, I was expecting a little extra in the video.

Either would be a good idea. But it's your story, just go ahead and do as you choose, I'll take a break from criticizing

Altoona, PA -- On a chilly Saturday evening in Altoona, the Curve had a double header with Erie. Game 1 was played with a smaller crowd than last game, as 10,285 was the official number, 63% of the capacity. 33 degrees and mostly cloudy.
Overcast weather for the game today
Game 1 starting lineup for Altoona
Jack Connelly got the start for Altoona
Altoona pitcher Jack Connelly got off to a good start with 4 strikeouts in his first 4 batters. Getting settled down, the Curve pitcher only gave up 1 run. In the bottom of the second inning, Chris Nelson, playing DH tonight, smashed a home-run over the left field wall.

Joe Blanton, pitcher #2 for the Curve
Joe Blanton pitched a solid 3 innings before Terence Thomas put in 3 solid innings of his own. However, at the end of the 14th, there was still no winner.
An Erie batter striking out in the 14th
Altoona brought in Nunez to pitch the top of the 15th, he gave up 1 hit and had 1 strikeout as well. Bottom of the 15th now, and Aquino sent a grounder into center field for a 0 out single. Next up, Chacin bunts to move the runner to second. Here comes Luis Rodriguez to the plate, who barely clears the right field wall to homer and put the game away.

Not much action early on in the second game. Many fans left after Game 1 as we had 8,987 fans for Game 2, 55% capacity, we saw an 8% decrease in fans. The weather cooled to 30 degrees. Picking up action in the top of the 5th where Erie took a 1-0 lead, but should have extended it. A caught baseman trying to steal ruined any hopes of that.

Chatting in between innings
The Curve started a significant rally in the 7th inning, their best by far of the year, as they scored 5 runs sparked by Roberto Cabrera's 3 run bomb to left field.

Earning player of the game!
The Curve will look to advance to 4-0 tomorrow which would tie the best start in franchise history!

Altoona, PA -- The Altoona Curve won a low scoring 2-0 game Sunday night on fireworks night to sweep the Sea Wolves in 4 games. Altoona continue the home stand tomorrow as troubled Akron comes to town.

In front of 8,250 fans, 51% capacity, the Curve continued their winning ways despite the 43 degree weather. The Curve have yet to play in a game that has clear skies.
Small crowd for tonight's game
The Curve scored their first run in the second inning, when a Chris Nelson double allowed him to get to third after a Cabrera ground-out. Andy Lopez then grounded to short allowing Nelson to score. The other run came in the 6th with some help. Tanaka reached first after a throwing error on a grounder. 2 batters later Chris Nelson comes through again with a triple, sending Tanaka around to score.

Altoona will hope to continue the undefeated season tomorrow to mark the best start in franchise history. The game will let us know if the Curve are off to a strong start, or the Sea Wolves are off to a very bad start.

Thank you, it would probably be best for you to just keep up to date on the first page in the standings post, and the weekly news I post here will also be helpful for people who don't know baseball

Just a thought but what about putting the box score at that end of the report instead of spoiling the result at the start? Would make reading the summary and looking at the pictures more interesting.
And how dare you beat up on the Sea Wolves (sorry I'm a Tigers' fan).

I was thinking of that, but I thought that since I put the score and winner at the beginning in that first paragraph summary, it would not make much of a difference. The headline of the article also spoils the result, just like any other newspaper
Will give it a try though, thanks for commenting and reading sometimes if you do

Rubberducks end perfect season for Curve
Altoona, PA -- Altoona's 4-0 undefeated start abruptly came to an end Monday when Akron bested Altoona 3-2 to win game 1 of the 3 game stand. The Curve & Rubberducks will play the seasons first day game tomorrow as the first pitch is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
Curve starting line-up
Altoona played in front of 10,389 fans, 64% of the stadiums capacity. The game was played in the rain most of the night, and the 30 degree weather did not help any. The Curve jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the second when Cabrera singled to left. He was moved to second on a flyout by Balladres. Gonzalez doubled to right sending Cabrera around to score.
Cabrera chatting with 1B umpire Joe MacDonald
Akron's starting pitcher was it by a line drive in the knee but stayed in.
Akron scored 2 in the 5th when Alonso doubled to center, Nishii flied to left, and Dorta nabbed a hit after an error by centerfielder Jason McDonough.
Curve finally escape the 5th
Bottom of the 7th now, and a big Home Run by Balladres secures the 2-2 tie with just 2 innings left.
The Rubberducks were able to put the game away in the top of the 9th after Holley lined to left for a single, and Villasmil lined to center. The ball hit CF McDonough and got away from him long enough for Akron to put 1 on the board, and hold off Altoona in the last frame.
Altoona expresses disappointment
T | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | R | H | E | AKR | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 3 | 7 | 0 | ALT | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 9 | 1 |
The loss for Altoona did limited damage standings wise, as they still hold first in the Western Division with a 1 game lead over Akron and Bowie. In other "AA" league news, 2 teams remain undefeated, Pensacola Blue Wahoos and San Francisco Rough Riders. In another interesting note, the Tennessee Smokies, who Altoona beat in their pre-season scrimmage, is one of the 2 teams remaining who have yet to win. Coincidentally, Erie is the other team, the only team Altoona has played this year besides Akron.
