Status Update
Hi hope you enjoy my team so far and in the nearest future I will make the interface more user friendly Currently I'm downloading the DB and will buy the game tomorrow after school Then I will do some screen shots to the OP, when the game is installed and then I will modify the database a little ( not stats , as I will set it on Random growth ) and when I have the jersey for the team I will start the career
Ty for your patience
Transfer Update :
Guillame Van Keirsbulck joins the team ! He will be the team's Young Prospect and he will secure domination in the classics , when Stijn Devolder has either left or retired from the team

Our last signing just arrived , his name is Jan Ghyselinck and his role will be to share his experience with the team, but more importantly he will be the youngsters best friend, as its his job that the youngsters gain all the experience they can get. He will therefore be a part of the staff
When Jackstar22 hopefully soon is finished with my jersey, we can then begin the races , but for now I will post some stuff about our season preparations and our first race will be in February , so I will add some pics from our training camps

Latest Update :
Roger Hammond retires from professional cycling , but stays as Coach. Also Frederik Veuchelen has chosen to take a hiatus for a year , but will rejoin the team next year. Because of that our Sponsor Babel Technologies gave us some money to find a replacement, and we are proud to announce that Lieuwe Westra will be joining the team and he will not only join this squad as a normal rider, he will be one of the 3 captains this season, with the others being Ian Stannard and Stjin Devolder
EDIT : Will post a new team picture when the jersey is finished , working on the accessories for the team in the waiting time

Westra joining the team might fill up that gap of a climber, but he has no helpers at all .... and to be honest he isn't that climber of Paris - Nice 2012 anymore.... |

If my goal would have been to create a UCI World Tour Team , then I would ofc add some hill riders to close that gap. But my intention was to create a incomplete team with various disadvantages, that could evolve with time and come into the World Tour with a strong lineup , with chances in both the GT's and the smaller races My point is that no team is flawless and I will keep that in mind because if I didn't , it would remove the realism from the story

Latest Interview from various News Magazines:
The cycling magazine The Peleton had two interviews today with both Ian Stannard and Casper Folsach. The world press seems to have discovered that a promising team was on its way.
Interview with C. Folsach
Today was Babel Tech - Adidas presented, and among them were Casper Folsach. He was Excited to start the season, and he thinks that he has grown his skills during the winter
"At the moment I just think that I have to get going, I don't expect the highest results just right away, but if I patiently can grow into a good shape, that I can hold during the spring and eventually I can start making some results.
My goal is to help the team as much as I can and I'm sure we can create a strong lead-out for Andrew and Ben. Personally I look forward to the summer, where my goal is to be danish champion in Time Trial and hopefully I've got some some spare fuel for the U 23 World Championship in Individual Time Trial. "
Ian Stannard:
As for the fast and furious Ian Stannard, the season will be hectic and competitive, and he will go into a season as the front man , both when It comes to the sprints and for the classics. If this guy can reach the climax in the first races, he will definitely be a terror through the Spring.
" In my time at Team Sky nothing prepared me for this and so far its exciting to see the progress we have done in so little time. As one of the team captains I am expected to do a great role and I intent to prove that Ian Stannard is their worst nightmare.
Our preparations have been focused on creating bonds between the riders and for myself personally I have got some new friends both through professional actions, but also on the personal site. Our manager has focused on creating a team with great synergy and for the next month time, we have to focus on what were best at, and that is teamwork"
Danny Anderson :
The manager was also present and finished the presentation with these comments
"As Ian pointed out, my goal was to create a team with good synergy and understanding for each other. We strive for the same thing and no one can take that from us, our confidence is at its best and we have to take advantage of that. Since our first race will first be at the 27th January, we have booked two training camps in Lucca, Italia.
We have also just booked the first tickets for a desert journey in Algeria for a week, where the team will have to be creative and smart, while walking through that desert. The intention of this task is to create unity in the team and create those bonds that are needed to be able to have a strong team. A week ago we just finished a survival camp in Aberdeen, and to continue the solidarity that were created back then between the team, this seemed like an opportunity to strengthen that.
As for the followers of our team, we have been given a good start by them and hopefully we won't disappoint them in the future to come, thank you! "

Good "buy" with Westra, if it is like you say, (about team/story realism/incomplete team) then you are not far from achieving that. keep it up.

Financial update / Transfer Rumours
Newly created team Babel Tech - Adidas , celebrated their first month as a official team in the Algerian capital of Algier with booking a 4 starred hotel and a local newspaper got the chance to make an interview with sports director Jakob Piil
"Since this is our first month as a team , regulations mandates that the financial status have to be updated today, and since we can't avoid questions about our current financial status here is a small update. We were given 150 000 £ for wages and at the moment 146 000 of these are already spent for the first month, this means that we have 14 000 £ to sign more riders for our team... , revealed J. Piil with his short interview.
We managed to get an official statement on e-mail and as far as we can tell, fans have urgently reported that the team don't have much domination in the hills or mountains , only the services of L. Westra and J. Tiernan-Locke are what resources the team have, so they have begun a search for 2 new riders and they were so kind to set name on 4 transfer targets:
Warren Barguil
Tom Dumoulin
Nicolas Edet
Daan Olivier
Our first notice to surprise was that two french riders was at the list, since the team have been very strict about putting as few nationalities on the team as possible. On the other side the team got a lot of french staff deployed in minor positions and their current HQ is localized in Caen, France. Team manager D Anderson also have a house in Nantes and have spent his young days as cycle rider were he lived in Annecy.
All the mentioned riders are still young and got everything the team will need when it comes to hilly classics or bigger World Tour races, if success is achieved. As for the financial site , T. Dumoulin will have a wage on 18 000 and will therefore be only signing while the others can be brought together as two. But for now stay tuned and we will have more news as soon as possible.
Charles Monsuet , L'Equipe
