1st Int. Sprint.. M.Tosatto(TCS), A.Tulik(EUC) and V.Reynés(IAM) sprint for the points and are able to get away.. with 2 kom sprints nearing, we will try to put E.Viennet in the break to defend his lead..
With that plan not working, it´s L.Mangel who has the chance to attack..
2nd kom sprint.. Mangel could only earn 4pts on both sprints, we lost the jersey by now.. 4´00"gap to the peloton.
At the breakaway things weren´t working good between the riders, Mangel decides to attack and try a solo.. 27kms to go.
With the pack not willing to let anyone work alone at the front, Mangel is caught with 14kms to go..
10kms to ride.. we take the front in the pack and try to control the pace..
Not doing much all day, J.Veikkanen attacks after the 10kms mark..
..but this attack didn´t last long.. Veikkanen is caught under the 5kms mark.. seems we will have another mass sprint finish..
Less then 2 kms to go, this time we managed to set our sprint train in time, C.Pineau gets out of the way, now it´s time for M.Fischer to set the lead for Bouhanni..
N.Bouhanni leaves Fischer´s wheel.. race leader M.Morkov is on the left side coming fast.. on the right side, T.Gallopin(LTB) speeds up fast..
Morkov leads by now, Gallopin steps up while Bouhanni can´t get the speed he needs..
M.Morkov or T.Gallopin.. one will win today.. Bouhanni is hanging on for another 5th place.
And it´s T.Gallopin who wins today..

Solid 2 5th places for Bouhanni. Hope he can get something more in Adelaide (last stage), since that profile would suit him best.

He´s not getting younger and with a new TM* J.Veikkanen wants to show some service.. he attacks at the first hill..
Country champions were very active until now and today is no exception.. Swiss champ M.Schär(BMC) joins up with Jussi..
.. but Schär wouldn´t be there too long as he gets droped with mechanical problems and is eventually reeled in by the pack..
Despite his efforts, J.Veikkanen has to give up from his solo break when he sees that with still 25kms to go and the pack only 1´20" behind he doesn´t stand a chance to stay up there.. good try.
13kms.. with Veikkanen already inside the peloton, E.Viennet attacks before the kom sprint..
B.Swift(SKY) attacks..
.. and takes the 10pts.. Viennet manages to earn some important points for his quest..
Going down until the finish, the sprinters quickly reach the final km..
.. but B.Swift is still in front..
Behind him, the sprinters give all to catch Swift before finish line.. L.Pichon leads N.Bouhanni..
We are riding fast... race leader M.Morkov is overtaked by us..
.. but is too late for us..
B.Swift wins..
After a perfect lead by Pichon, we make 2nd and 3rd.. great.

Damn! Great result for Bouhanni, but what impresses me more is that image of Swift winning looks so realistic!

It doesn't matter what story or what team, your graphics are always amazing. Wish I had seen this sooner. TDU has been good to you so far.
I wish you Good Luck!

*admirschleck - Thanks mate . Lucky moment on the bike when tooked the shot.
*Mresuperstar - Thank you for your kind words Mre, really appreciate it. You are still on time to see this going..
Many riders hitted the red zone when some tried to escape at the climb after the start...
After that failed attempt, M.Belkov(KAT) and M.Fischer have the chance to escape..
Saxo Tinkoff is leading the pack for long but are managing to close the gap.. kom sprint is near..
At the climb, J.Arredondo(TFR) and our young gun E.Viennet attack for the pts.. Viennet earns 4 precious pts wich brings him back to the kom leadership..
2nd Int.Sprint, Fischer worked hard to get some pts there before getting caught by the pack.. Belkov will try to stay clear at the front but will be caught too.
With the last 5kms getting close and Saxo Tinkoff trying to recover some energy, we take the lead and start to push hard..
Just as we thought, Saxo riders are having trouble to stick with us..
Flamme Rouge.
N.Bouhanni(right side) starts his sprint..
QuickStep and Giant riders try to close in..
.. but Bouhanni reach his top speed now..
Lots of empty place behind..
N.Bouhanni wins.

*Ste117 - Thanks.. ... maybe Bouhanni can win the last stage, who knows.
We knowed this would be a hard day for us.. many attacks all the way, but all failed to be acomplished.. together with Lotto and Saxo, we were able to bring all back.
With all that action and high pace, we quickly reach Willunga Hill... at the top and near the kom sprint, W.Barguil(GIA) attacks..
Barguil is caught at the last hill... D.Ulissi(LAM) leads the sprint.. we struggle behind..
D.Ulissi wins the stage but it´s T.Gallopin who takes the leader jersey.. we loose too much time today..

Too bad the team lost the lead on Willunga Hill but this seems to be a perfect climb for Ulissi (and Gallopin). Still great win by Bouhanni on the previous stage.

*sutty68 - Thanks mate .. i kinda knewed that Willunga Hill would make us loose time and any chance in GC but there is still one stage to go and we want it..
Shonak - Thanks .. here goes the same like what i told to sutty, Bouhanni did great there.. nice to see you here.
I will play and post the last stage today and La Marsellaise too.

Willunga hill was disapointing but if you grab another win I'd be happy with the tour!

You lost too much time on Willunga hill, too bad for that but you still did good on the other stages so I guess the TDU was a succes |

Wooooaaa! Truly amazing shot (and graphics), mate! You might have noticed that I'm currently "out of" the story section with the ManGame taking command of all my PCM-time, but I will be back for sure and of course follow your story. This looks really cool so far (didn't expect anything else from you). Just wanted to stop by to "honour" this awesome screenshot!
