Tried to keep my focus this time yes. Sadly everyone else thought sprinters would be a good idea too.
This is what it looks like, average age 27,9. But that's without three loaned out riders aged under 24. So the future is the future Also still looking to transfer in 2-3 riders, who shouldn't be 30 either.

Well. Last year Ruijgh was not taking a single point in the mountains for me neither as he was my only climber.
In the sprints and cobbles, your team should be doing well. Even though you won`t be the best anywhere most likely. And you cannot ride flat races only.

Yes, will be a tough season once again. For me the focus really is 2016/2017. Might have a chance to promote around that time. Until then we will durdle along.

It's a shame PCT got a frenzy for sprinters, if not you'd be looking in a good position, but with so many 80+ sprinters it might be tough.
You have got a great depth on cobbles too although lack that final leader if the cobbled races turn bit more selective. However with so many awesome options you should be scoring well

I wonder if trading Reus was a good decision.
Not having the exact DB now, but I think together with Ignatiev and Bobridge, you could have fought for many podiums in those races. |

Yes, that was probably not a good decision in the short run. Got stuck on my goal of an 80 sprinter, which all things considered won't help me. But then again Lavoine is nice and young.

Well, I can join you in despair since I have an 80 rated sprinter who will probably struggle even to finish in the top 10 in most flat races. |

I am concerned (for you) about the lack of climbing and time trialing riders. Could be a difficult season.

Transfer update V
After a few quiet days there is some news again from Team Hornbach
First and foremost Enrico Franzoi joins our team. He was envisioned as the new team leader before transfers started and in the end we managed to get his signature on a contract. A very expensive contract, but Franzoi feels this will be his last season at the top. For this we have an excellent support for him, to really dominate the cobbled season this year.
New CT squad Team Jesleyh has entered into close relationship with us, buying Michiel Elijzen who is looking forward to captaining a squad in the autumn of his career. Also Bob Schoonbroodt will join the new BeNeLux squad to gain more experience and get more chances for himself than would be possible with us.
And last of all we have bought the contract of Julien Vermote from Pokerstars. He is a young cobbler, who will be important in years to come. He's still young and will benefit from PT experience in the toughest races, so he will be loaned out for this season, negotiations have all but concluded on that front.
That's it, probably the last update for transfers this season. The team has the focus we were aiming for, but is maybe a bit weaker than we hoped. We will have a blast this season one way or another and are looking forward to every race that has a hint of cobbles in them.

Goals unveiled
With only some minor transfer business being concluded (welcome Mohoric), it's time to name the races we target. Until now we only made public the fact that we want to win 2 races (one HC) and top 5 a third one. Now it's the time to bring you the names of those races.
As you can maybe guess from our transfer season they're all cobbled races.

Win Bahir Dar

See you there.

Hornbach vs Quickstep vs the rest?
Possible goals for sure. But won`t be easy. |

That's what I call sprinter-focussed
I probably have a stronger squad on every terrain but flat. Nevertheless, I will definitely be following this team closely.
Oh, and I want to thank you for Schoonbroodt and especially Elijzen

Wildcards announced
While the complete calendar for Team Hornbach is still unknown we are very proud to announce that we have gained wildcards for the two biggest cobbled races on the calendar.
Our team will start in 2 monuments this season, first the Ronde van Vlaanderen and one week later Paris-Roubaix. Our bid was no doubt helped by fielding 2 top-10 riders from last season. Trentin came in 7th in the Ronde last year, while Franzoi got 8th in Northern France.
We are very excited to make our debut on the biggest stage cycling has to offer (at least classics wise) in our 3rd season in the peloton.

Thanks, means a lot to me coming from you . And I think Franzoi deserved an appearance in the Monuments one last time at full strength.
