Wow. Didn`t know you have two pretty good and still unmaxed sprinters. Plus Japanese.
Shikai and Kinoshita as well should be solid PCT scorers next year.
Great team and so much potential left. |

Exactly what I was going to say roturn. Those two should definitely be capable of some quality results.
Also, it appears I can't edit or quote here as well. So I guess it's happening in the Teams HQ forum, but seemingly nowhere else (thanks for fixing my youtube video in cio93's thread, by the way), and I feel I was able to in the past. Is that for a reason that you know of or should I pm Aab-ern? |

Being able to create threads is locked to only those that are Managers in the man game so maybe it's also linked to that, Can't say I've noticed if it's a recent change or not due to being in the game for the last 2 years.
@Valverde nice development on those riders, It's nice to see a fellow Asian team developing the continent's talents, hopefully I can find some South East Asian's to reach similar levels.

I can see why promotion would have really helped you with your talents. Some interesting decisions for you ahead, since it hardly seems practical to loan out all of them.
Will be interesting to follow Shikai back in PCT, after a very useful year at Vesuvio.

Yep. Would like if Itami was a little better at hills, then I think he'd be a very good PCT sprinter, this season and when he is maxxed. Hayakawa I think should be either a very great lead out or a solid leader himself at PCT level. I think having such solid depth sprinters means I can split Lo Cicero and Napo for pretty much every race and not send both to the same race. (My thinking behind that, was having both in the race guarantees a Top 5, but of course, it didn't turn out that way) since Itami and Hayakawa will do just as good a job leading out or possibly grabbing a Top 10.
Shikai and Kinoshita should bring in a good amount of points, atleast thats the hope. Alongside Zaini and possibly even Efimkin we should be a solid team on the hills next year.

Thanks Deadpool!
Yeah Sammy, its nice to see guys I signed my first season now becoming strong enough to win races!

Yeah, a lot of my guys are at the stage where PT would be perfect for their development, but at the same time, I think my teams actual ability would be quite low for PT. If I promoted and wanted to stay in PT, it would be hard to keep an Asian focus, so from that regard it isn't a huge loss. Of course even promoting and going back down would be okay if I planned for that, as it would speed up my riders development and there is always the chance I stay up.
Shikai should hopefully do big things for us this year. I think we missed having good climbing depth this year, so to have him back in a leader role and some of my others like Hiratsuka also developing we should be better than ever in that area too.

You look definitely set for a Top 10 result next season with those talents returning/developing.
Although I wonder if your transfer season will be focused on loaning some of them out again or on getting one more leader to try and go for the Top 5 instead, as keeping the talents and not promoting wouldn't really help you either...

Dont forget Efimkin and Napo are going to decline. Promotion will still be a challenge I think.
I will probably loan atleast one or two, but I think Kinoshita will stay with us almost for sure, unless I can loan him out to a PT team and get someone nearly as good for basically nothing.
Even with most of my talents, they wouldn't be leaders at the PT level so losing them in a crucial year like next where depth will be very import wont help me now, and only for small improvements the year later.
I'd like to add one more leader regardless Or two, or three

Kwok! Future Oz and Hong Kong's pride
Kidding aside: If Kwok is available for loan, keep me in mind. Other than that, a nice core of talents for sure.

I started with an idea and layout was later changed by FroomeDog. (so thanks for the credit).
Some wonderful asian talents that you developed during the PCT years, especially Kinoshita, who is still not maxed, but great for PCT already.
Also Shikai, Kwok or Hiyakawa are great talents, i dont even know single one of them from real cycling Asia stronk!

The worst thing with relegating is that I will loose in the battle of all the greatest Asian riders I could hope to lure to Taiwan |

Yeah, Kinoshita is probably going to be the cornerstone of this team for years to come.
Kwok is actually really talented irl. Hayakawa is decent on the Asian tour and I will admit I do not even know if Shikai is a real rider or not, but I am glad he is as strong as he is. He should be a great rider for us too.

As long as you keep Choi, I think your future is still looking pretty nice. Of course if he were to move to a new team, you'd have lots more space for many more talents

Meiji announce Sponsorship changes
JR East is the major passenger railway of Japan and currently run the majority of the rail lines in the Greater Tokyo area. They will be taking over as the secondary sponsor of the team and Cannondale will be leaving.
JR East is a very profitable company in Japan and Meiji have not been as successful in recent times. JR East also sponsor a soccer team called JEF United Ichihara Chiba and they have seen the rise of Japanese cycling and want to get into the sport. JR East are making an effort to be a more "green" company and cycling seems like the perfect sport to get in to. So both financially and image wise this looks like a great move for JR East, and Im sure JR East will help the struggling Meiji in financing the cycling team.
JR East are already well known within the team, thanks to Suica an electronic smart card, which can be used on all JR train lines as a form of payment for train fare, as well as in an increasingly large amount of convenience stores within Japan, or other types of stores within train stations.
We think this partnership will help the future of this team significantly, and we cant wait for the next chapter in this teams history. We would also like to thank Cannondale for its investment in the team and wish them success in their future!
