Lierse - Pizza Ullo have received a decent budget for this year. With it, we hope to fill our roster to 20 riders. Most of them will be free agents, but we hope to realise some transfers as well. Belgian and Italian riders are our priority of course, but we're looking out for international talents as well. We're looking for a decent cobbler especially, as we want to place our focus on the classics.

Transfer period: day 1
After day 1 of the transfer period, the team is a bit more worried about getting our roster together. There seem to be two major problems at the moment.
First of all, the 8 rider a day limit is very frustrating as a new team. While the established teams are mostly looking for 5-10 free agents to sign, we are looking for 15-20 riders. With a lot of riders already on the table, we'll have to think carefully to keep everyone we want available, so we need smart planning on which riders we will bid tomorrow.
Secondly, the transfer budget we have at the moment makes it hard to negociate a good transfer. Even the most helpfull other teams are asking for prices that pretty much empty our budget for one rider.
Our expectations for tomorrow is that we can already scratch quite a few free agents from our shortlist as the salary offers keep going up. We will also need to place some offers to prevent certain deals from finalising already. We can only hope the remaining riders of our shortlist stay unavailable until next week.

We can totally understand your frustration about the bid limits.

Day 2 - Our first signing!
Lierse - Pizza Ullo is happy to announce the second day went slightly better for us, as we signed our first rider, Jasper Stuyven!
Our main priority at the moment is a decent cobbler, we're willing to put most of our budget on the table for one.

Day 3 - Ninja!
On day 3, the team is starting to get shape, as we secured a few more riders. Edward Theuns, Josef Cerny, Diego Rosa, Greg De Winde and Kevin Peeters all joined the team. Expecially for Kevin, it was unexpected to sign him so soon, but we're really happy we have him.
We also reached an agreement with Francis De Greef for a transfer from B-Post, he'll be joining us as well next season!

Cerny was great pick up, thought Becherovka would have fought harder for him. Was on my list until i landed some other talents instead. Also Peeters is a very nice singing. Good to see the CT teams starting to get real squads together

Thanks, 7 riders so far, and quite happy with them. I need a leader for the classics though.

Day 4 - Calm before the storm?
We had a quiet day 4 on the transfer market. Daniele Dall'Oste was a great purchase of course, but now we're mostly waiting for confirmations, hoping no one overbids us so close to the end. Maybe towards the end, we can still use some of our money for a final purchase.

Day 5 - Mixed Feelings
Day 5 got us some good domestiques in signing Louis Verhelst, Nicola Ruffoni and Arthur Vanoverberghe. On the other hand, we got outbid on a few other riders we could've really used. We still need that Belgian cobbler, and although we had one decent offer, we're not sure if he's good enough to lead the team.
Tomorrow we hope to finalise a few more transfers, so the core of our team is set. After that, it's only picking out a few more targets.

Day 6 - We can start!
On day 6, we added another 4 riders. Maksym Vasilyev, Michele Viola, Nikita Umerbekov and Jens Debusschere joined the team. This gives us a total of 15 riders so far, meaning we have the required amount of riders to start the season. A great day for us of course, but we're still looking for 2 or 3 top transfers towards the end of the transfer period!

Day 7 - The Cobbler
Today we managed to sign that big cobbler we were looking for. Though he was quite expensive, we are happy to have signed Stijn Joseph. This means our transfer period can be called a succes, even though we still have some budget yet for an offer or a transfer.

Don`t know the exact CT cobblers.
But Joseph should surely be one of the strongest there if not the strongest.
So he can deliver quite a lot of points. Very nice leader. |

I guess I should mark Lierse as my main rivals once again, for nationality reasons
