A first sign of Mohoric and the things to expect of him. Just with a bit more success hopefully in the future.
Felline did good although this was his first race and he's just building up form.

6th is not bad for Radenska
Though I would've preferred Yellow Fluo not win the race

Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Jakstar22 - Well, i think i don't have to say anything more about Aidan, he's just one of the best (if not the best) shirt makers over here, and that's it. And yes, solid 6th place for start of the season.
Shonak - Mohoric won't get many chances in his first season, to be honest. All of these guys has some abnormal potential, so it's not like he's only one who is going to be future great. If team keeps its look (talking about squad) then this team is going to become one of the strongest UWT teams very, very soon.
547984 - You just said that as Radenska is some crappy team and even 15th place is great for us. No, but 6th really is solid result.
And yes, shame Yellow Fluo got it, but it's Italian race so they probably looks on it as one of most important season races.

14th days after the first Italian race, another one is on our teams schedule and it is Trofeo Laigueglia. Race with way more climbs that Etruschi and with a bit stronger competition. As you can see from the profile, there are 4 big hills and one steep but short - the last one.
Puncheurs, 1day classic riders and some hilly sprinters are favourites here. Some of the serious contenders for the win are: Riblon, Slagter, Caruso, Westra, Cataldo...
I think we have big chance for Top10 here, mainly because we brought one of strongest, if not strongest squad here. As you can see, Polanc, Mohoric, Pibernik are there and i think that's enough for you to realise how important this race is for us.
Last years 5th place from Jan Polanc can be nice target for us and everything better than that would be big bonus. That's it for this preview, see ya on the race!

Our plan - hmm. If pace goes high at last few kilometers, we'll probably stick at our sprinting plan. If not, Polanc is always a good solution.
After few unsucessful tries, breakaway got created 10 minutes after the start. It's actually pretty big breakaway group. Our Tadej Hiti is there, also.
It was his time show his National Champ. jersey. It really looks great on him!
Surprisingly, all of these riders from big breakaway group passed these hills without problems and shown some great co-operation so they was in front really long, until about 10kms before finish line. Sky & Astana turned on their turbopowers and caught them easily.
Now, 10 kms to go, peloton is once again one big, compact group. Buut, not so long. Caruso decided it's the time to make a move and he attacked in the bottom of that last, steep climb.
No one could keep his pace, so he continued this attack and 3kms to go he had 50 seconds of advantage. That should be enough. Meanwhile, in the peloton, riders were prepared for sprint and party could start!
Our guys were well placed. Pibernik was following Mohorics' wheel while Polanc was just sprinting by himself.
Caruso gets win with clear pain on his face. He can't even celebrate. Pyrrhic victory for him, today.
But look at this sensation! Oh my God, who could expect this? Luka Pibernik found a way on left side of road and is actually going to get 2nd place! Only few more meters for him, can he make it?
Wow! Luka just got 2nd place in Trofeo Laigueglia! This is how it looked from helicopter. Mohoric is few meters behind. He probably got Top10 place as well.
Let's bring on results to check that.

Batista15 - Indeed. It's absolutely amazing result with this strong competition.
547984 - We don't have best riders in the world, nor overpriced ones, but what we have is good strategy and harmony in our team. Without Mohoric & Polanc, Pibernik would hardly get podium.
aidanvn13 - Oh, hello again my friend! Glad that you like it, and to be honest i expected your comment. I just know you like Radenska!
Squad is cool, realistic, and young -> can't be better. Also, sponsors are very, very satisfied with results! Thanks alot for stopping by and leaving a comment, hope team is going to extend contract with you (team kit designer) for next year aswell!

First stage-race for our guys this season and the first race outside of Italy for them, also. It's Vuelta a Andalucia. Race is in 2.1 category, so we should expect some big names to come. Route perfectly suits Polanc so he'll be our leader. 4 stages and each one with different type of terrain. Pretty interesting , no?
And, just as we expected, really strong competition there. Only 116 riders, but all of them from top-teams. Some favourites are: Froome, Hesjedal, three musketeers of Astana - Brajkovic, Scarponi and Fuglsang, Roche, Spilak, Konig, Gesink... Will be very, very hard to get some noticable result there!
Our team is pretty strong here, aswell. Polanc is our leader and Pibernik is there aswell.
Anyways, this is our big chance to show what we have before the actual Giro. Strong competition, TTs, some big mountains and climbs, just perfect for some stage-race competitors.

That is indeed a strong competition in Spain. Looking forward to see Froome vs. Quintana on stage 3. And who knows, maybe you can get into the act there. Good luck |

Batista15 - Uh, forgot to add Quintana as "strong competitor" in preview, but well. Anyway, it's going to be really tough to get into the battle, but if we somehow manage to get some good result, it will be great.
