And with that the curtain closes. This has been an incredibly tense season for so many teams. If cio does indeed relegate (and it may well come down to placings from lesser riders in that bunch) then commiserations to him. I'm sure he would be back soon though, with all of his talents coming through the ranks.
Indeed, rubbish AI. The dynamic of attacks in a long line, meaning the game doesnt recognise new groups, so they all sit up after attacking - is stupid. Pure luck that it was Schleck who made the 2nd attack. I think I prefer previous Lombardia routes where there was more climbing nearer to the finish - but maybe it is just PCM12 that was the problem.
Had given up on anything special from Schleck, so the result was certainly a pleasant surprise Thought EBH or Cunego were sure to get him on the line.
Bit naff there from Ponzi and the Wiggle boys. Expected more aggression, but then PCM12 has never provided that has it. Guess the mountainous hills didn't help either, I'd have thought Ponzi would have closed the gap in a sprint, not let it get bigger.
Still, I guess I survive for another season in the PT. That'll do me!
Poor performance from the team - Bobridge well out of that one.
That will be one thing we need for next year a but more bite on the hills. Nice to see the veteran win here really, I think some managers a bit too age phobic. Vesuvio remain in top five then after all.
