After a brutal start on stage #1, AMEX perked up some on stage #2 getting much maligned Kupfernagel up to 7th on the stage and the team moved up into 5th place.
Somewhat disappointed that we have missed the breaks on stages 1 & 2, we think that getting Yannick Stoltz into the break will be a key to pushing Kupfernagel up to a chance for a top 3 finish.

La Lavandier couldn't even hold on after getting a couple of bonus seconds. This race is officially a write off and might well be what stops us promoting.

What happened to Napolitano there? Can't blame the hills with Cav 3rd. Dall'Antonia looks well placed for a good GC now.
He just didn't have the legs, Cav must have had a strong day I guess. Most of the big sprinters were impacted by the hills in the end.

How was Rasmussen not one of the riders dropped? Could be very good news for Oz if he manages to get a decent GC position out of the race, since he can time trial a bit.
God, that's awful to watch.
I hope the acceleration issues I experienced with PCM13 (hugely delayed acceleration after starting the sprint) were only subjective, otherwise we'll see such things way too often next season as well.

We would be walking this with decent AI. Instead it looks like top 10 at best and a failed Asia Tour goal
Good to see Gerrans taking out the KoM-competition. Minor, but unexpected points at least.. Also Rasmussen once again great as 10th. If he and Rogers, as well as William Ford, survive the last stage, the ITT could do some good things to us. 40" for Rogers though are too much, imo. Too bad, thought he might have a shot at the podium here.
