Are you sure that Haraldur Guomundsson isn't winning. He's like, the 10th best centre back in the Icelandic Premier League. And he plays for Keflavik, Keflavik people!!

Irish guys don't play football they only can destroy it.
Btw, i think every player of Borussia Dortmund should get a wildcard because they are PCMDaily's Favourite Team?

Well then submit a list with 10 BVB players.
On another note, we now have one hundred unique players. If you keep sending nominations in, we could in theory make it a field of 128.

Good to see more and more people sending in.
A mention in the Weekly News would make it complete

You obviously haven't heard of Super Seamus Coleman then

Him, Shane Long, Robbie Keane, Aidan McGeady, James McLean or James McCarthy aren't good either, are they?
And that's not even mentioning players that made Ireland the 8th best team in the world at the time the world rankings were introduced.
Also, last but not least:

Shane Long: No
Robbie Keane: No
Aiden McGeady: Perhaps
James McLean: No
James McCarthy: No
Supporters tell us nothing about the quality of the team, although it was very nice of the supporters at the EC

Shane Long: Quality Striker, maybe not quite world class, but still developing.
Robbie Keane: Not anymore, but in his best days...
Aiden McGeady: On paper yes. Hopefully he can bring that to the pitch now with Everton, because apparently not much football is played on paper.
James McLean: Yes. Strong talent, can control the ball and the game. Will eventually move to a Prem side like say Liverpool, and do well there.
James McCarthy: Yes. Same as McLean he's a very talented midfielder, who's doing well at Everton now. Give him two years and he'll be one of the best on his position in the Prem.
Supporters tell us nothing about the quality of the team, but it does make a difference in terms of how interesting a game is to watch. Without the singing, that game would've been plain shit. This way, it's quite iconic.
Fixed that for you.

If you look at it like that, then there are some world-class Feyenoord players as well

Have to say though, when James McCarthy joined Everton i wasn't overly impressed by the signing but watching him at Goodison Park he brings stability in to the midfield and is very good at holding the ball

I totally agree. When he was signed I thought of him like another 13 million thrown away, 'cause back then we still had Fellaini and Ossie so he seemed to settle for the bench, but I have to admit that he impressed me throughout the season.
