The fires and heatwaves in Aus really aren't good.
My family went to Tasmania hile my dad was working there and we saw the devastation there and there were a few small fires at the time.
The heat wave as well is just ridiculous.
You get used to the heat after a while LLS, but it's the fires that is the rough part

ucking Russia... It seems, that I cant see TDU, can someone say, is it possible to watch TDU live in the Internet, for free, or may be not so expensive?
U.S. Postal Service (2000 - 2007), Karpin - Galicia (2007 - 2008), Astana (2008 - 2010), Team Radioshack (2010 - ...), Sky Professional Cycling (2010 - ...)

I don't know if it is because of Russia, more likely just anything outside of Australia can't watch it. On the day of the race check this website and if there are internet stream (and there probably will be) they will be listed there:

Count. NZ has delayed coverage of the classic and highlights of every stage which you can watch every few hours. In other words, I get to watch the best stuff but it just isn't live.
Oo yay get full coverage of Stage 5 live from 1:30-6pm. Best stage of the Tour hopefully. And also have full live coverage of stage 6
Last two stages Hooray

Channel 9 doesn't get much love from the Aussies...
Mind you, they already fail to write the name of "Australian cycling legend" McEwen correctly, for a start.
Stream is up now. Still at the hymn though, so either the coverage or the actual race is slightly delayed.
I nearly missed Liggett and Sherwen. Just nearly.
Though I gotta admit the voices remind me of the beautifully broadcasted US races.
First live cycling in 3 months!

Wait, this isn't TDU is it? Isn't it the Classic which is raced before the TDU? |

Channel Nine is showing the cricket, which is always going to get priority over cycling here. They have only scheduled highlights from what I can see.

It is live on GEM, whatever channel that is. Hopefully that can be accessed somewhere.

Why are the commentators always talking about Greipel and Kittel and not mentioning Ewan? He's here isn't he? I hope he gets at least a top 3 today and wins in TDU |

Well two English commentators are obviously less excited about Ewan as a future Cav challenger
Plus it's Phil&Paul, that's the least of their faults.
And yes, Ewan is here just as every other TDU starter.
I'd rate Greipel, Kittel, Goss and Viviani stronger than Ewan in any case, so take 2 of those out with bad positioning...

Won't be long before Ewan is stronger than all of those combined
Anyway, People's Choice Classic, what points are earned here? Asian continental and CQ?
Nathan Haas is doing well in the intermediate sprints there. Over halfway now.
EDIT. Seeing the AG2R jersey in action, it looks better than I first thought. Still ugly as hell, though
