Go Team Spain! (and Costa )
Hopefully all 5 races are exciting, I don't expect my guys to do anything but who knows they might surprise me.

Great preview really, looking forward to see the races.
My biggest attention goes to U23TT for sure, because Zmorka can grab top10 there, before storming the podiums in next two years.
And i hope that Eduard Grosu has some surprise in the bag for the U23RR.
Elite category is not our playing field, so i will just sit and watch ,maybe someone from Ukraine team can get into strong break.
Btw. i am not still over Hoffman not being selected for the RR for South Africa.

I hope to see a strong break forming in the RR, with Vorganov and/or Fonte to grab a top 5... Dreaming is allowed right?

Hoping for a mid-stage attack from Flügel, if not I think Cunego would deserve a win here
Other than than, in general rooting for the German and Norwegian riders

Good luck to Sergent in the time trial and Bewley in the RR.

Great previews here. Looking very much forward to all the races, as the Dutch have at least outside chances everywhere. U23 RR is where I have a rider (and 2 in the TTT), but Schoonbroodt will be a domestique for Kelderman is my guess.

The Dutch have got Spain's number at the moment and they tie two for two with the home team take bronze again.
Disappointed with the Belgium ride thought they could have made top five. However Cancellara looks like he rode well, so could gave a chance of a big medal in the individual.
Superb report!

Thanks for this truly epic report!
Huge disappointment from Aussie though. It's just not "our" season i guess and as the pessimistic person i am, i will take this as another bad omen for Oz Cycling's fight against relegation! Hoping for better results in the remaining TTs now. Go for gold, Aussies

At least your only participant wasn't in the team that came last, no wonder Zoidl fits our team so well.

Great race and tremendous report. Very well done by the dutch. For a fraction of a second I thought Spain had it, but it just wasn't meant to be.
Congratulations to the triumphant managers. Time for the women's event... wait what

Great win by the Dutch here, I'm hoping Germany comes stronger next year with a (hopfully) flatter course and Fielder (and a developed Sutterlin) on the team

Congrats to the Dutchies and thnaks for the great report Roturn, very enjoyable read.
Ukraine with 9th place is great i think, next year it can be even better with Zmorka and Golovash improving dramatically.
Also i like that black on Ukraine national jersey, maybe signs of things to come color wise, regarding the biggest Ukraine team?

Lars Boom with his 3rd Gold medal in the last two years.
I hope he will also get the RR gold medal again.
The Germans and Aussies surely were influenced by the hillier course a bit.
Spain and the Netherlands are just too strong. |

Great report, roturn.
These Czech results aren't the best seriously. I have a lot of work to do to improve this in the next seasons.

Thanks to the missing 2xp points last year, Sütterlin will only be 75 next year and most definitely not able to strenghten the team.

Now i am even more happy that Zmorka will be 77 next year.

Zmorka will top 2 points higher anyway, plus I still hope they won't have to meet next season
