Still wishing they'd go back to something close to the Garmin 09 jersey......

Yeah, heard this.
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Oh god, that AG2R Le Mondiale jersey. Never forget, never forgive.
Cannot wait for racing to resume for another season, the sport has its issues but I've been missing it. No more morale sapping then some of the shifty match fixing going on in professional football.

The good news is that the Sky jersey doesnt look as terrifying in action, as it does in Chris Froome's photos. It's a pity they've moved the names to a more hidden place though, I quite liked that feature.

Durbridge sick ( sore throat getting worse ), might miss the nationals, in very good form, if present would likely win the TT and be again contender for the RR.

So it looks like Rui Costa is truly intent on destroying his season:

I knew he would try this. He has the ability to win a couple of week long stage races and go stage hunting in a GT. Why would he insist on doing an anonymous 9th place ride?

Plans are being made for a new Dutch Pro Conti team for 2015.
Project is called Euregio Pro Cycling Team, and they'll aim to be WT in 2019.
Team is focussed on Dutch Limbourg and the region around it(so also a part of Germany & Belgium).
They think they can have 28 million budget split over 2015-2019, by sponsoring & crowdfunding.

Wonder if it ever gets there...

It doesn't have to destroy his season. Look at guys like Mollema and Kreuziger, who I see as more or less equal to Costa... can't say they had a crappy 2013 season. |

The difference is that Costa can't handle three weeks. I'd consider a 10th place a big success for him

How do you know that? He only tried it once. |

I don't think Costa can handle the big mountains as well as Mollema/Kreuziger.
He's a pretty good climber, but stages are about all I see him achieving, outside the Ardennes/WCs that is. |

And how do you see Costa equal to Kreuziger, when we talk about GTs?

That.
If a rider is an excellent one week/ten days tours rider, it'd be frustrating for him to not give a shot at three weeks races while in his prime. |

Just wondering, I probably have missed it while I was on holiday, but I can't find anything...
What about Argos? They found an other main sponsor for 2014, so did they already reveal something? They should do that somewhere around this/last week, no?
I expected it at 1 January, honestly

Gut feeling
I think Costa will end up somewhere between 4th and 10th in the Tour de France this year, based on his victories in Tour de Suisse and on how easily he managed to drop pretty good climbers on the way to his Tour stage victories. But July is still far away, looking forward to see him in Paris-Nice and the Ardennes classics first... |

Their website says this: January 13 | New Team | New Challenges | New Website
So let's give it a week and we should know more... |

And here's Orica - GreenEdge's kit for 2014:
I'm not sure what to think, It really doesn't appeal to me at all.

Yeah it is a bit bland. I wouldn't be surprised if they get another sponsor before the TDF this year and change their jersey again to reflect that
