With the time-trials before the cobbled stage, I think Posthuma will be leading the team here, not Trentin.
SShhhh. I should have asked for Trentin to lead one race in the contract

Cancellara in beast mode!
That win sets him up perfectly for the rest of the race, that's for sure. Congratulations, Smowz!

What about the cobbled classics and his result from Ronde?

Cancellara got the best of the conditions there by the looks. A perfect start to the race, he us just bang on where we could hope to be before what appears to be the hardest of the hilly stages. Schumacher, Pozzato and Gilbert are the obvious dangers.

Nice riding in our homecountry, and with a good result by Lindgren at 11th. |

Happy with results, 2nd and 6th, good start really. And that hopefully means Bewley will be still my main leader.

I guess Coppel just had a awful day.
Otherwise he should be closer to Cancellara I guess.
Cancellara with the same wind conditions might have done more than ~10s on guys like Schumacher, Bonnet etc. |

I kind of expected that... weirdly didn't detract from a good report though. I'm going for stage results then! That was definitely the plan...

Hard racing, but in the end the big favorites didn't get the maximum result here. And Cancellara did great on his worst terrain.
Too bad Trentin lost so much, maybe room to grab a stage?

Very aggressive stage for my team and Van Garderen. Have to be pleased with the 2nd place and causing some losses for the cobbled specialists. Additionally, Summerhill only lost 40 seconds which isn't too bad considering the number of riders gapped.

Mmm... Really thought Schumacher was gonna win that one. Either way he's sitting perfectly, I only expect a top-10 by the end of this.

That turned out as a really nice stage. Congratulations to Venchi and Sykkel_Freak, no doubt Di Maggio has what it takes to win i against some of the big guys as well.
Thanks for the report! |

Not too bad from Kruijswijk, Guldhammer and Vandborg. Unfortuneately Kruijswijk has been very anonymous this season. I'm hoping he can get a good result here!

Acceptable, depends now on whether Fab can claw back time on the chrono on stage 5. Would have lived to been still in the lead but I guess it could give the team a break.

A bit surprised Trentin lost so much time. He's not a bad puncheur.
But Posthuma and Sinkeldam are still there. The first one will struggle on the cobbles and the second on in the time - trial, but hopefully, in the end, one of them will be in the top 10

Nice to see a lead out attempted, JVH is actually sprinting decently cannot complain about finishing behind swift Boonan and Benny.

Great to see Tommeke in good shape again
However I don´l like the fact that in general my sprint train doesn´t work as it could through the whole season. I would expect to see something like Kluge-Holloway-Boonen green machine, totally destroying all opponents
