Sorry tsmoha...
I guess no matter what happens in the rest of the season. Peraud was quite a huge disappointment.
But without having played any of the mountain stages, I still think that a top10-15 is not totally impossible for him. 90km flat time trial and a 50km TTT should suit him more than many others. |

Those splits always suck, but they're a part of the game it seems. Nice sprint battles so far, Greipel quite isolated today.

Was a good stage, the only bad thing was that Greipel picked the wrong wheel for the sprint. I really feel for those who lost time on a flat stage.

AMEX is unable to even get a sprinter in position to complete on a 100% flat stage. Oh my this needs to change!

Ratiy is skilled in always ending at the wrong side of splits... Atleast Castenada did better in the second sprint, I really need both of them to do well

I will try to make at least one report a day. If possible and university allows it I will make two reports a day.
This evening there will definitely be another one as I already wrote it.
So stay tuned. |

Already losing time on stage 2, great
I'm starting to think I'm not meant to be in the PCT. I continue to get the short end of the stick with the PCM logic. Can't it just help me for a change?

Awang had the right wheel, just a shame he got boxed in when he was still on Greipel's wheel, and Jiriakov was being attentive as ever and managed to avoid the split which will help him going into the mountains later on.

God I am so sick of those splits. I've personally been on the better side of those most of the time, but that's not how races should be decided. Luckily we have three weeks of racing here.
I hope PCM13 is better, otherwise we could see millions spent in sprint training for GC riders.

I'm happy since Vrecer didn't loose time and sad for the ones who lost time because of it. |

Scumbag PCM 12:- Can't make splits on a 20km 7% climb... Makes split in flat finish...

Good start for Mezgec, i had hoped for a much weaker competition in sprints here, though. 19 stages left, should be possible to get at least one win.

Wow, great to reach home and get already two new fresh reports, thanks for that roturn.
It's nice to see my men attack. 3 breakaway attempts in 3 stages is an auspicious start. Even more with this KoM jersey from Allonca. Unfortunately Santos hasn't kept the same track, but there's still plenty of stages for him.
Too bad that split opened on stage 2. It's become sort of a requirement for every stage race, and some teams have been hit by that recurrently this season. I can only hope this can be diluted throughout the race.
Onto the TTT we go then. That's gotta be interesting!

Peraud
(Sorry, couldn't resist)
Thanks for the reports, quality as always! So even if i won't have many reasons to celebrate, it will be a good read!

Hmm, those splits must be a real killer, I feel for the ones that got caught on the wrong side. :|
And again no american stage win. From a neutral perspective, that would be kind of nice to see. :).

Good stuff from Boeing. It's the positive and consistent start that we need right now. Our promotion push is not done yet, with some other serious races to come bonus points earned here will really help.
Chicchi constantly in the Top10 is a start. Breakaways could offer up a surprise stage win or jersey. And Georgiev is waiting to show his climbing talents.
Three great stages to read. Keep it up roturn!

Teruel is actually sprinting pretty well, too bad points are only available to the first 8 finishers of each stage. I'm going to be tracking points like this between CSC and UPC for the rest of the season. Why me?

Really enjoying these reports! Only thing that can make them better are WWE victories! Greipel is still doing rather well, but I'm hoping for more wins from him. I'm nervous before the stage racers are really starting to get going.
