[img-l]https://hl2mp.tsgk.com/hlstatsimg/flags/es_states/euskadi.png[/img-l] Invitation from Euskaltel - Euskadi [img-r]https://hl2mp.tsgk.com/hlstatsimg/flags/es_states/euskadi.png[/img-r]
To the management and certain riders of Caja Rural - Seguros RGA
In our evergoing effort to promote cycling in the "extended Basque country" meaning Euskadi, Navarre and Aquitaine the management of Euskaltel - Euskadi have decided to host a Basque race series taking place with one race in each season break.
That means that someone on your team is eligeable to take part.
Since we respect that riders are bound by their contracts we want you to have the final word in whether or not they may take part They will off course ride in their usual team kit.
The lineup will consist of as many professionals as possible as well as a talent-team from each of the three regions.
The route will vary slightly from race to race but the first edition will be held on the route used for Clásica San Sebastián.
Your eligible riders are:
Amets Txurruka
Iván Velasco
Omar Fraile
Javier Francisco Aramendia
Since you have riders from more than one region you will be allowed to split them onto two teams should you wish so.
To take part all you have to do is confirm your participation below or by PM.
Sincerely
Alaon Etxeberdea
Manager of Euskaltel - Euskadi

Furan Being Furan
Being an evil genius, Pietor Furan is not prone to showing signs of emotion. When asked to comment saying he is happy (like a normal human being) he has come up with the following response.
I have started my season at this team. I am, as you would say, pleased. I have performed my role satisfactorily, and now I wait for the team to plan my season for the rest. However, I have had no major victories, so there is very little to write about, other than the fact I am seeking to make an alliance with my fellow cruel dictator, the mighty Ollfardh, to rule the world. That is all
Ummmm, so yeah. As Furan's agent, we would like to say a few words too. Pietor is delighted with his start. He has settled right in and made lots of uhh.... friends. He is happy with his results, but hopes for a lot more in the remainder of the season. He hopes to ride a bit in this part of the season, and hopefully will be even more successful. |

Nicky van Drenthe
Hmm... A Dutch cobbler at a Spanish pro continental team, it was an interesting idea at the time but maybe the novelty has worn off now. I'm not sure i totally fit in here and with the lack of management it has been fairly hard. I was part of the Volta ao Algarve squad, we almost delivered Furan to a stage win stage 2 but he pipped at the line by Napo of AJW.
Its too early too say but I think I will look else where at the end of my contract but until then I will look to do my best for my team and develop as a rider and teammate.
Nicky

No problem
You just don't really fit in the team strategy
But it is a nice time with you
Greetings

You drive
Scheldeprijs
Brabantse Pijl
Baloise Belgium Tour
Tour de Luxembourg
Also I don't have time to count the race days. I'm working on the focus db which will be released soon but needs some hard work.

during the break season me and my brothers were talking about what races to ride for the next part of the season if we could choose our selfs. I thougth I might share it with you all
Giro del Trentino [16-19 April]
Tour of California [12-19 May]
Ronde van Belgie [22-26 May]
this would give me 14 races this part and together with the 3 race earlier this season, I would have a total of 17 days

Nicky's blog
Racing has restarted and I definitely felt it, I've only raced one day but it was SCHELDEPRIJS and I got in the BOTD! it was only 3 of our Curvers and Armee. We were never going to win, that was to be decided between Cav, Gripel and Kittel but we all got our camera time, hi mum, hi dad! Anyway we made it to the last 20km it was a great effort. In the end, Gripel took the win. I look forward to Brabantse Pijl and will give you a report from that race too, so til next time.

Hello, Pietor Furan is here.
I was wishing to inquire to the mighty (not at all a cruel dictator) Ollfardh, as to what races I will be at for this part of the season? |
