Not expecting to beat Miche in this one but certainly aiming for a podium.

As a non sprinter team main goal for Zoegas in Brazil will be to somehow show the jersey...
...plus whoever is close enough to be recognizable on the finishing photo gets a day off and a first class ticket for the next flight. |

Commonwealth Bank is betting everything on Graeme Brown on this first race. This is probably the only stage he can contest the win and we can build him a good train with three guys over 70 on Flat stat.
Good luck to all!
I've had Brown, you're lucky if you get a top 20 ;-) (I hate that guy, gave him way to high wage and he never did anything)

First race and first appearance by my two stagiares. Will be interesting what role they will have in that race.
Edmondson at least is listed in the favourite team, while Grand has to hope for a big Stroetinga day. |

As SN pointed out before wit only the top 3 sprinters getting leadout trains usuallly that should give a huge advantage to Miche and Node4 in terms of their sprinter being guaranteed to be near the front without having to rely on luck so i'll be a bit different and say Node4 with Tobyn Horton and Tom Last looking like good lead out men. |

To no surprise the only mention of Dexia was in relation with the crash
Had hoped for slightly better than 44th from Vanthourenhout though...

Wow, having sprinters with fairly close stats does this. Great finish. |

Grats to the winner. Indeed the outcome was unpredictable, and things didn't go in my favour (7-Eleven).
Not in the top 20, although we were there in the final with my my 74 sprinter and his lead-out. I guess they just lost touch.
Oh well. Can't wait for the next one |

That is so dumb. My sprinter d'amore came 46th. If this continues i might give up.

In all seriousness, hopefully this win will put the arrogant sprinter teams in their place .

Well, a crash, that is a shame for Tleubatyev...
Well, with him & Stevic, the hilly sprints suit us better.
@LLSanchez You can't be serious, right? It's just a bad result, are you really considering to give up now?

This was a surprising victory, the favourites were Node4 and Miche indeed. Congratulations to Fuji
About my team not a big surprise, unfortunately we didn't reach the Top 15 but Martinez in 20th is a decent result. The only surprise was to see Martinez sprinting and not Jules.

For whoever that feels bad after the first race, acknowledge that my Nolan Hoffman was abyssmal in hirst first flat race this season and now he is sitting on 2nd in CT individual rankings. So everything can get better!
And comments about giving up are really premature.
Congrats to Fuji. Extremely close race there...
