I like the rider colomn idea. A stage-win with Thomas won't be easy, but I don't know who you send along, ofcourse.

Traditionally, the first challenge of the season is one for the Aussies. The Australian time trial championship is the first race on our calendar.
We've got one of the favorites for the victory in our team: Rohan Dennis. The hilly profile gives him the best chance for the win in years. His strongest opponents are Richie Porte and Michael Rogers.
Cameron Meyer sets a strong time right in the beginning, which would last very long. Our 4 other riders weren't able to beat this time. Sprinter Ewan ended up at the 33rd place, Von Hoff at the 32nd, Haas at the 24th place and Morton ends up at 19th place. The first one to beat Meyer was former Tour de France-winner Cadel Evans.
Rohan started his race strong and came through in first place at the first checkpoint. Rogers came through 25 seconds behind, while Porte was 27 seconds behind.
After a hard descent, Rohan pushed it to the absolute limit and his efforts got rewarded. Rohan Dennis beacme the Australian time trial champion and already gave us our first win of the season.
Spoiler 1 | Rohan Dennis | Red Bull - Sharp | 51'38" | 2 | Michael Rogers | Team Saxo - Tinkoff | +25" | 3 | Richie Porte | Sky Procycling | +27" | 4 | Cadel Evans | BMC Racing Team | +33" | 5 | Cameron Meyer | Orica - GreenEdge | +53" | ... | 19 | Lachlan Morton | Red Bull - Sharp | +1'42" | 24 | Nathan Haas | Red Bull - Sharp | +1'54" | 32 | Steele Von Hoff | Red Bull - Sharp | +2'20" | 33 | Caleb Ewan | Red Bull - Sharp | +2'20" |

After the success with Rohan Dennis in the time trial championship, the moral of our Aussies got a big boost for today's race: the Australian road championship. The race is hilly, which was most suitable for Rohan Dennis and Lachlan Morton. Caleb Ewan, Nathan Haas and Steele Von Hoff had the task to help these two riders.
We chose to split our chances in this race. We decided to try and get Lachlan and one of the helpers in the breakaway and keep Rohan with 2 helpers in the peloton, so he could try to go for victory when the breakaway got caught.
After a tough start, we managed to complete the first strategy. Lachlan was in the first breakaway group and Nathan Haas followed in the second one. As soon as the 2 groups melted together, Lachlan could spare himself for the final, while Nathan did most of the work in the breakaway group. The other riders in the breakaway were Zakkari Dempster, Tommy Nankervis, William Clarke and Glenn O'Shea.
Due to Nathan's hard work, the peloton was still 3 minutes behind at the last 20 kilometres. That's where Lachlan broke away from the group and only Nathan was able to follow him. Thanks to Nathan's sacrifice, Lachlan was able to stay ahead of the peloton by nearly 3 minutes and claim the victory. Nathan finished second at 47 seconds.
At the peloton Simon Gerrans broke away with about 15 km to go. Rohan countered his attack and Gerrans wasn't able to lose him. In the sprint however, Gerrans was too strong and finished 3rd, Rohan finished 4th.
After a strong week of our Aussies, we already managed to win both of their championships. Lachlan Morton will wear the Australian Champions jersey in the road races, where Rohan Dennis will wear it in the time trials. This success will be a big moral boost for the team in the remainder of the season.
Spoiler 1 | Lachlan Morton | Red Bull - Sharp | 3h57'16" | 2 | Nathan Haas | Red Bull - Sharp | +47" | 3 | Simon Gerrans | Orica - GreenEdge | +2'47" | 4 | Rohan Dennis | Red Bull - Sharp | s.t. | 5 | William Clarke | Team Argos - Shimano | s.t. | ... | 13 | Steele Von Hoff | Red Bull - Sharp | s.t. | 14 | Caleb Ewan | Red Bull - Sharp | s.t. |
