yes, I know. I was making the point that it's a time trial for climbers and one where Dekker will do better than Savoldelli. especially because he was ending his run of form coming from the Ardennes classics while Savoldelli wasn't yet in top form

Peter Bissel has died:cry:
I doubt anyone has ever heard of him but he was a 21-year-old British cyclist. He was the U23 Road Race Champion. 21-year old Peter, from Stevenage, was a talented and highly motivated rider who was probably best known in the UK for his successes in the colours of the Arctic-Shorter-Rochford team, though his first racing appearances were as a youth rider at Welwyn Track League riding in the colours of Welwyn Wheelers. He also raced extensively on the continent and was due to join the French Hennebont team for the 2008 season. It was whilst representing Arctic-Shorter-Rochford that Peter won the prestigious national Under-23 Road title over a tough Buckinghamshire course in 2006.
His cause of death is still being investigated after he collapsed whilst out with his friends just after Christmas. The funeral is expected to be a private gathering of close friends and family at a date to be arranged. The family are asking that flowers are not sent but that donations are made to the David Rayner Fund instead.

Dude, that's wrong. It is clear that you are not part of the Cancer Community. Personal views involving Politics and Cycling aside, cancer is not the topic. Armstrong offered help, Joly said no. leave it at that. |

Frankie Andreu has left Rock Racing, basicly saying Michael Ball is too much of an ass.

Cav was allways going to ride the Giro this year
He wants to do well at the Olympics. He suggested doing the first 10 stages of the TdF and then dropping out, but High Road said it would be best to focus completley on the Giro and Olympics.

McEwen always rides it. I'd be surprised if he didn't this year

I hope he will ride all three this year, In 2007 he wanted to be the only guy with victories in Giro, Tour and Vuelta, but Predictor didn't want him to ride the Vuelta...

he can't do it. he tried to ride all three a few times before and he was always too tired to win when he got to the Vuelta
