I'm looking forward to see him on the road, if he performs well in his first season, he will have all pro tour teams wanting him, anyway, does he already have a team for next year?

Kloden, Levi and ContadorB). This looks a little bit like T-Mobile when they had Kloden, Ullrich and Vino.

he just said last year and then again early this year that he would turn to the road races after the olympics. since he has a contract with Rabobank, he'd probably be put in one of their two teams

He should go to road race, track race is way too boring, he wins every race he rides tough

I know Bos's father wants bos to do the Tour de France once. his argument was: "If he wins gold on the olympics in the sprint, what else can he achieve on the track?"
And you have to agree with that... I think he'll be doing the tour in 2 or 3 years from now.
the green jersey will finally go to a dutchman again |

Believe me, I have talked with Theo Bos at the Zesdaagse Amsterdam (at the afterparty )
He isn't interested in going to the road and said that he doesn't havy any endurance, which you need as road rider, and he is afraid that if he'll train to gain endurance, he would become a lousy sprinter, not good enough. He was a road racer in the youth categories and sucked he got beat by Martijn and Eelco Berhkout ffs (they are now my 'bosses' at TD Magazine) lol. I heard all their stories about when they still raced on the road.
Theo Bos is a down to earth guy and he knows what he is doing, and I tell you there's a 95% chance he will stay on the track forever. |
