I wish they would actually start enforcing the time limit rule or just get rid of the whole thing. At the moment it's so arbitrary that it's just idiotic.
You can't use subjective messurements such as "will" and "fighting spirit" to determine anything.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

He's not been kicked out because of lack of will of fighting spirit, but, in the first place, because he was outside of the 25 % (!) time limit. The other conditions are potential things that could have allowed him back in. |

Allthough I'd love to see riders being kicked for lack of fightin spirit

Meanwhile Kashechkin has been kicked from the Tour after testing positive for fighting spirit, courage, grit, and moxy. He should've been smarter, moxy's been testable since at least the 1960s
