Finalle, the day has come. Viking Rampage Team will test their skills among the best.
It is still early in the season, but VRT's sponsors still demand a good result.
5 place or better will make our sponsors happy.
The team that will fight for a top 5 spot is the following:
Leader: Wilco Kelderman
Squad Kessiakoff, Löfkvist, Fuglsang, Nordhaug, Laengen, Wilmann, Breen.
After a few calm stages, the action really began on stage 7 from Chãteaneuf-du-Pape to La Motagne de Lure. A 172,8km stage that ends up Col d'Èze
The winner of this stage could most likely end up winning the entire race.
Stage 7:
Alberto Contador win, but only a few seconds ahead of Wilco, who did an amazing job.
The only stage we are worried about now is the last stage with time trial.
Kelderman did have some problems following the best times, but at the end he did exactly what he needed to do:
An incredible 2nd, 5th, 16th and 24th position made us achieve the goals of our sponsors, as well as beeing the best team overall in Paris-Nice.
Can we make the same results in Tirreno - Adriatico?
Will Quintana follow up Kelderman's great performance?
Coming soon:

So the time has come for our second challenge of the season. The great achievement by Kelderman in Paris-Nice has really motivated the team to fight even harder for the top spots. Nairo Quintana seems on fire, and should really be watched carefully by our competitors.
Vikings Rampage Team starts the race with the following squad:
Leader: Nairo Quintana
Squad: Kwiatkowski, Dennis, Kristoff, Røinas, Skjerping, Enger, Hoem.
The first real challenge of the race is stage 4, with as much as 3 mountains to climb.
With the help of the strong polish cyclist Kwiatkowski, Mr. Quintana had an easy ride over the first 2 climbs. On the last mountain, Quintana decided to only focus on himself. Countless attacks from Froome, Schleck and Valverde was slowly demolished by his stable rhythm up the mountains. It seems like no one could take away his self belief, and that he knew he was strong enough without having to counter attack.
Closer to the top, only a few riders where able to follow the pace of Quintana, but at the end they all had to give up. Stage 4 of Tirreno-Adriatico was won by Nairo Quintana!!!
The rest of the race did'nt have many big challenges. After last stage with time-trial, Quintana managed to hold his position. What an impressive race by Quintana!! The 8th place overall by Kwiatkowski was also a joy to watch.
