Vuelta a Mallorca Stage 3

Today and tomorrow are hilly days so I have no expectations.
The Stage

imageshack.us/a/img543/7276/breakonfirstclimb.jpg
On the first climb of the day there was a peloton split of 24 riders that I didn't make, that stayed away for almost 50 kms.
imageshack.us/a/img819/5779/thebreakaway.jpg
From this group 6 men got away and made the day's breakaway. The names Hulsmans (Vini Fantini), Santaromita (BMC), Edet (Cofidis), Haussler (IAM), Louder (UnitedHealthCare), and Talansky (Garmin). Later Duenas (Burgos) crossed the gap.
imageshack.us/a/img197/3961/mebeingdropped.jpg
I was dropped on the second to last climb of the day and finished safely within the peleton.
imageshack.us/a/img211/7180/talansky2min.jpg
Meanwhile with 20 kms to go Talansky had a 2 min gap to the peleton.
imageshack.us/a/img198/7395/10kmtogovoigt15secback.jpg
10 km to go now and Voigt has attacked on the last climb of the day and is 15 sec behind Talansky and 30 sec ahead of the main field.
imageshack.us/a/img853/9342/3kmtogo.jpg
With three km to go Jens and Talansky are caught by the 25 man peleton.
imageshack.us/a/img534/9849/200mtogo.jpg
With 200 m to go Sanchez is going to win the stage but more importantly is who will take over the GC Lead?
imageshack.us/a/img818/9277/finishd.jpg
Sanchez takes the stage and L L. Sanchez takes second and Valverde takes third, but who is in the GC Lead? It's Duque for Columbia who survived the hills and took 18th on the stage.

Vuelta a Mallorca Stage 4

Another day in the hills none of them too hard until the last climb of about 10 km.
Today we will try to help De Clercq protect his top 15 GC Position.
The Stage

imageshack.us/a/img853/4342/breakawayn.jpg
A Large 11 man group got away on the first climb of the day. the names: Rebillin (CCC), Paolini (Katusha), Garcia (Caja Rujal), Haussler (IAM), Cesar Velasco (Andulacia), Gasparotto (Astana), Pinotti (BMC), Hermans (Radioshack), Navarro (Cofidis), Christiansen (Saxo Bank), Bauer (Garmin). We jump to the the foot of the final climb and the break has a 2:30 gap to the main bunch of about 100 riders.
imageshack.us/a/img194/6470/gettingdropped.jpg
I dropped off the back about half-way up the climb and finished safely.
imageshack.us/a/img856/4020/sanchezattacks.jpg[/img
With 1 km to go in the climb L. L. Sanchez attacked with hopes of dislodging GC Leader Duque.
[img]https://imageshack.us/a/img545/8534/yellowdropped.jpg
and Sanchez's accerleration succeeded in getting a gap and dropping Duque! Sanchez is now the leader on the road.
imageshack.us/a/img600/1879/5kmtogo.jpg
5 kms to go now and Kessiakoff has joined Sanchez and they have a 20 sec gap.
imageshack.us/a/img826/2056/500mtogo.jpg
With 800m to go the 2 leaders are caught and Jens Voigt is flying up the right side! Can he get by Sanchez?

Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne

The team will ride for Andre today and Jurgen will go for the big solo.
I hate cobbles and to just make my day better its cold and raining Angry

The Race

imageshack.us/a/img189/5669/thebreak.jpg
A five man group got away after the first cobbled section the names:Van Zandbeek (cycleteam rijke), De Bie (Leopard Trek,) Le Mevel (Cofidis), Polazzi (Wallione), Lampaert (Top Sport).
imageshack.us/a/img40/471/secondcobblesection.jpg
As the peloton hits the second cobbled section the gap is 5 min 30 sec.
imageshack.us/a/img42/3209/jurgenattacks.jpg
With 60 kms to go Jurgen goes on the attack and catches and passes the breakaway and is followed by a six man group including Chavanel and farrar.
imageshack.us/a/img705/9257/lastcobblesection.jpg
On the last cobbled section Jurgen has a gap of 1 min to Chavanel who has 3 min to the peloton.
imageshack.us/a/img46/9131/greipelpunctured.jpg
With 20 km to go disaster struck. Andre punctured. He enventually got back into the peloton with about 10 km to go.
imageshack.us/a/img811/5639/10kmtogo.jpg
Right when Andre was getting back into the group Jurgen was being caught by the now 55 man peloton and I was getting ready to do my leadout
imageshack.us/a/img593/6991/icrash.jpg
As if my day could no worse, the blanco rider ahead of me touched wheels with Lars Bak and brought me and about 10 others down to the cold tarmac.
imageshack.us/a/img827/6360/1kmtogo.jpg
We jump to 1 km to go and Eisel is leading with teammate Boasson hagen is in second as Andre starts his sprint.
imageshack.us/a/img543/2056/500mtogo.jpg
With 500 m to go Andre is flying and Eisel is tiring but will Andre run out of road?
imageshack.us/a/img690/1922/andrewins.jpg
No he won't! Andre Greiplel wins Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne 2013. Eisel takes second with Degankolb getting third.

Paris-Nice stage 1

There is a ton of good sprinters here: Goss, Degankolb, Kittel, Boonen, Eddie Boss , Sagan , and Farrar just to name a few. I aim for a podium on at least one stage. Today's Stage is pan flat with no categorized climbs.

The Race

imageshack.us/a/img94/9705/breakax.jpg
The Break was made from the first attacks of the stage. It consisted of Iglinskiy (Astana), Riblon (AG2R), Talabardon (Sojason), and Wurf (Cannondale).
imageshack.us/a/img855/7459/15kmtogo.jpg
With 15 km to go the Break has 1 min to the peloton. Out train is firing on all cylinders.
imageshack.us/a/img194/5639/10kmtogo.jpg
With 10 km to go the gap is down to 25 sec and our train is no longer doing so good.
imageshack.us/a/img42/1879/5kmtogo.jpg
With 5 km to go the break has been caught and our train made a great charge to the front but we're running out of men ahead of me.
imageshack.us/a/img843/7217/2kmtogo.jpg
2 km to go and Bille has launched his sprint ahead of me.
imageshack.us/a/img823/6360/1kmtogo.jpg
1 km to go and Eddie Boss is in the lead as Degankolb starts his sprint. Boonen has come out of nowhere to be near the front. I'm boxed in by guess who a Blanco riderAngry.
imageshack.us/a/img594/9964/finishy.jpg
Boonen passes Degankolb with 50 m to go and wins it! Goss gets third and I take a pedestrian 8th place.
