Thanks for the replays guys.
Today is my first race in the professional world! I am so excited, but also a bit afraid. I've bee told that my role today is a Free Element!
It's a pretty flat stage today from Prospect to Clare, but it is two climbs, and one of them close the the finish.
Here I am, early in the race, together with Nicki
When it was 20 km to go, out manager wanted all of us in the front of the group. Since I was that new, I used very much energy of doing so.
With 15 km to go, I had been escorted to the front, and Bjarne Riis, told me to prepare a attack. I attacked when the breakaway was pulled in, but I was driven in at once. I attacked again with 5 km to go, but my legs didn't answer me.
While I was falling back though the peleton, I saw Haedo and Cantwell well paced on Demare's wheel.
With 1 km to go, Demare had a lead to Boeckmans and Cantwell, and behind them a whole bunch.
Sutton had saved his energy well, and took it in front of V. Ilginsky and Cantwell. Cantwell had beaten Demare with inch, and took a great third place.
I finished at a 36th place. My first race, at a 36th place. I was disappointed, even the guys in the team told me not to be so. No one of the Saxo riders were interveiwed, except Cantwell, which got a few questions of how he was felling.
Tomorrow it's a hilly stage, I expect to not fall of the best group, and try to beat today's place.

36th isnt bad for a worker, and also not bad for a climber. Good job by Cantwell btw

Today it's my second professional race, I and got a sight of how hard it was yesterday. It's a lot more hills today, and I am really excited about trying myself against the better climbers today. I doesn't feel my attacks from yesterday.
Mørkøv attacked at the start. And riders attacked after, one by one. He won the mountain sprint, and will wear the jersey tomorrow.
When it was 65 km to go, we entered the circuit. It wasn't steep, which I found bad, but it was a long climb, and it was another climb after.
With 35 km left, I spotted the breakaway in the hot sun. All Saxo riders was there except L.S. Haedo and Mørkøv.
With 25 km to go, the excitement was entering to me, I was almost cold, and the first riders attacked.
Together with Tanner, a hill rider, I drove away from the pack. We caught Mørkøv, but at the same time I were caught. And Barredo counter attacked
I waited before I attacked to follow Barredo. Nicki followed later. Together we rode in Barredo, but then I was finished. Nicki managed too keep in the front, but he was pretty empty.
Vandevelde entered first at the sprint, but Tankink came in front of him with 1 km left.
Moreno Moser owerpowered all and took it home, in front of Clarke and Pineau.
I finished 27th in the race, but I was happy with that. Because I had shown off to all the others in the peleton.
After the race I was interviewed by a Sky-Sports reporter
Reporter: Now I am standing here with the Norwegian rocket, Erik Larsen. Congratulations with a well completed race Erik!
Erik: Thank you so much. I've really happy to have shown off, and I might got on some shortlists too now.
Reporter: Yes, I bet you have. This is your first season as a professional rider, after only one year as an U23 rider, where you won almost everything. Are the differences big?
Erik: They are huge, but I haven't tried any real mountains yet. I think I have my best chances of a good place there.
Reporter: Well, it isn't much I have to say. Good luck in your future Erik.
Erik: Thanks. Next time we meet I'll be at the podium, hopefully.

Nice win at the Australian Championship! Good luck at Saxo Bank. This is a good choice when you're using the 2012 database.

Today it is a short, flat race, and I am expecting nothing to happend here.
Early in the race, I met Kristoff, the Norwegian champion. We talked a little about our early career, before I rode away.
Mørkøv, which was the Saxo rider in the 5-man break, won the KoM, and could keep his jersey for one more day.
He also won the first sprint and came second on the other. It gave him the lead in the sprint contest too.
For me it was just to save my legs for later stages, so I just sat calm in the front of the peleton. I was lucky with that choise.
Because with 15 km left, it was a mass crash, and it included Gerdeman, the captain of Radioshack, and the sprinter Bazayev. No Saxo riders were there.
Only two km the first fall, L.S. Haedo and Checci fell. It was turning to be a dangerous final today. Van Impe fell too.
With 6.4 km left, the breakaway was pulled in.
800 m left. All of us were sprinting to gain some money for the team.
Van Hummel were leading the sprint in front of Steegmans
200 m to go, Van Hummel still in lead in front of Sutton and Cantwell and Demare.
Sutton won in front of Demare and Cantwell. And I entered 17th!! My best place ever in the professional world of cycling.
Today, Sutton was in the media. Mørkøv and Cantwell was asked a few questions each, but they were quickly heading to the team buss to get ready for tomorrow.

It's another flat stage today, so I think it will be boring
Even it is a 1st category climb, it's too far from the finish to decide the outcome. We got Mørkøv in the breakaway, trying to secure his jerseys. He was in the breakaway together with Pinotti and M.Velits. He won the first sprint and KoM and got second on the second sprint.
At the last climb, I was showing guts together with David Tanned. We rode in Mørkøv.
We rode away from the pack, but we were still 1min behind Pinotti
It was an epic fall today too, including some team leaders. It was to my best, because less team would be chasing our break. We were 2min in front of the pack and 30sec behind Pinotti.
With 5km left, we caught Pinotti, but he was so tired that we simply rode away from him.
I found myself on Tanner's wheel when he started the sprint.
1 km left and I was raising away from Tanner. My first victory was closing up!! My first professional victory ever! But hopefully not my last.
With 300 m left, I was 100% empty, but I was winning it!! A world tour race, and I was winning it.
I looked back and saw Cantwell beating Sutton in the main sprint. But I didn't care about his great effort. I had won!! My first victory in my career, with great help by Tanner!
Here I am, receiving my leaders jersey. My first sign to glorious days in the future.

The same reporter from Sky sports was interviewing me now too.
Reporter: Hello again Erik!! And congratulations with the victory!!
Erik: Thank you so much!!
Reporter: You said next time I meet you, you'd be on the podium, and you are 100% right.
Erik:Well, I have to go in a minute, so lets do this pretty fast!! Of course I am excited over my victory. I knew I was in a good shape, but not this good. I feel like I am ready yo climb Aple d'Huez now.
Reproter: I really don't know what to say to this amazing show off. But how important was Tanner in your victory?
Erik: He was very important, and so was the crash. Together they won the race for me.
Reporter: Yes, I hope you are ready to take over in Saxo Bank after Contador now.
Erik: Contador has been my idol in my whole career. I've been really looking up to him. And I don't want to push him down before he is 40 years old at least. But now I have to run!! See ya later.

Great win here I hope you can hold that jersey all the way to the finish in Adelaide

Thnx for the replays guys. I really want to keep my jersey all the way too Adelaide, but who knows, maybe I am the next rider on the tarmac
2morrow it's my math exam(I am on my first year at the junior high school). I also go weekend plans, but they are not confirmed yet
