Well done by Thomas Dekker. Unfortunate that he didn't get a medal. |

Thomas Dekker's participation in the Olympic Road Race was thrown into disarray following the time trial as Dekker somehow managed to injure himself.
It is presumed that he must have crashed on the way back to the Dutch team's hotel and is is incertain whether Dekker will ride in the Road Race or be replaced by reserve Pieter Weening (Both ride for Credit Agricole).

Ive done about of investigating and have found that in the actual career savegame which the DB is from, Dekker is injured.
So he has been riding all season with a supposed injury, I dont think it actually affects him though.

too bad huff coudn't pull through in the pursuit. Great for Taylor phinney. He would deffinitly like to make the jump from the Slipstream Juniors team, 5280, onto the elite squad.
Any chance we could get a peek at Phinney's stats so I can critique them.

I demand the entire season to be replayed! |

Potential 7, 70 MO, 65 Hill, 72 TT and 72 Sp.

pretty good stats. I would have given him a little more TT and sprint cause that is were he gets all his wins from but then again he is only 17.

Yep, within a year or two he could be right up there - Im sure if yo usigned him for the next CT season he would score plenty of CT points.
Im planning to do the sprint sometime on Friday with the following riders:
Only Bos and Kankovsky are from taking part in the sprint events on the track, the rest are taken mainly from riding in the Team Pursuit at World Cups events.
Theo Bos - Netherlands
Alois Kankovsky - Czech Republic
Ed Clancy - Great Britain
Mark Cavendish - Great Britain
Nikolai Trusov - Russia
Aleksei Markov - Russia
Timothy Gudsell - New Zealand
Daniel Thorsen - Australia
Jens Erik Madsen - Denmark
Alex Rasmussen - Denmark
Graeme Brown - Australia
Tim Mertens - Belgium
Mahdi Sohrabi - Iran
Olaf Pollack - Germany
Mike Friedman - USA
Brad Huff - USA

You had Gesink in the Olympics, I had him opt out of the time trial in favor of L'Avenir.

if theo bos doesnt win the sprint event here, nobody will be stupid enough to sign him for next season.... his carreer depends on it, so you bet he will do whatever it takes to win |

Bos has the best draw though, he should ease through to the semi finals. The first half of the draw looks to be the most interesting.
