Well done, Gesink. He will be tough to beat for Schleck and the other brilliant climbers, as he's likely to wear yellow on stage 3.
Decent by Spilak, I just hope he and all the other favourites stay out of trouble on the coming stage.
Speaking about the coming stage, it would be great if Vanoverschelde could make a podium.
But Spilak is the priority. If he stays safe, any result from Vanoverschelde will do |

As long as he doesn't stay in Gesink's wheel, Spilak should be safe

Not a bad start for sure. Oh and it's great to finally see Uran actually racing for my team!

Gesink should take this given that he already has the yellow jersey bonus. I also can't see anyone else who could beat him on the MTT.

I think Pluchkin is the favorite for the mountain time - trial. Today he only lost 4 seconds to Gesink and he is clearly a stronger climber than the Dutch man.
Then again, I haven't played PCM in a ages so I have no idea how this type of stages can turn out

Definitely but if you have the leader's jersey then your stats seem to increase marginally so if you have that going into the MTT then Gesink should win the race

Now I know why Bonnet wasn't listed in the preview here as one of the sprinters but 6th is still decent.
Maybe I had too strong cheese or so thinking that with a bit of luck that Bonnet might have a good Prologue+Sprint to get a chance of the yellow jersey for one day.
Was there anytime in the Man-Game history that a Zabel happened?

Actually I was considering him to be mentioned. I made the preview before playing that stage also.
But I remembered him more due to his TT stat than his good sprint. So I could have named him as well afterwards.

I don`t know the exact stage but I think it was already this season or late in the last season, where a Zabel happened.

Spilak is really close now as well. It definitely won't be easy to keep the yellow jersey in the next stage.

Exactly what I was waiting for seeing all those climbers mixing with sprinters in PCT recently.
Even though VDB couldn't steal some seconds, it's a good showing and some ranking points.

Caethoven
Good to see he is saving his positional skills for the Giro, and that he didnt need that this time anyway! Especially good to win without getting involved with the relays, which inevitably would have meant Schleck doing work - flawed as the game is.

Weird stuff, but I'll certainly take it
Congratulations to SN, this could be a superb tour for them if Schleck delivers on the coming stage.
It'll be an absolute key, and I can only hope Spilak is up for it, as we really need a good result here. Can't wait for it!

Total fail Forero, great. My mistake probably, I should bring here at least one lead-out man. The news that Uran worked at front wasn't the best message for the GC hopes as well..

Lots of strange sprints recently in the man game, this one didn't really work out for the top sprinters here. I guess none really are that quick.
Nice too see the Zabel finish, it is a rare one this not had it happen to me when playing PCM seen once I think in ManGame.
Pleased Margoliot went in break if he does go again he could be up for the mountain shirt. Hoping Sella shows on the mountains

Good start from Mr. Moldova, he should be able to rattle Gesink in the mountains. Seems like those two's traditional yearly Romandy duel.... and then there's Andy

Yeah they seem to enjoy battling each other here so much that last year they both missed the gc fight, just so we won't have one without the other
