Australia National Champioship's RR Preview
Last year, Simon Gerrans won, beating Matthew Lloyd and Richie Porte. This year, the route fit's a sprinter so it will be hard to Gerrans to regain his title.
With Travis, we expect a good result. Altough, we are going to send a rider into the break do show our jersey to the media.

And the 1st attacker of the day is here! It's Darren Lapthorne from Qantas. He get's countered by Matthew Lloyd.
And almost after 30 km's of attacking, a break of 3 is formed. Darren Lapthorne from Qantas, Luke Davison from Drapac and Sam Witmitz from Raleigh.
And, surprise!!! For the 1st time ever on PCM 2012, Orica actually cares about chasing the breakaway.
But one rider is not happy with this situation. Lapthorne attacks and tries for a 40km solo ride. Witmitz and Davison try to increase the pace and reach him.
And after 10km's, it's all back together in the break. The pack is 2'15'' behind with the pace beeing made by Orica.
And with 15km's to go, it's all the same, except that the gap is now only 1 minute. Are we about to see a sprint finish with actual sprinter's?
We're now entering the last lap, that mean's only 10km's to go. Lapthorne give's it one last go. Will he hang on?
And for surprise of everybody, Orica change's tactic's. Is Goss feeling bad? O'Grady follow's an attack made by Qantas Lachlan Norris.
And they get an gap. 4km's to go and Norris give's it another go, knowing it will be hard to beat Stuart on the sprint. Can he finish it now?
And under the flamme rouge, he has still a gap. Norris is going to do it, he's got packed in the bag.
And he does it!!! Norris becames the new australian champion. What a great way to start Qantas cycling background. A win in their 1st official race. O'Grady 2nd and Travis Meyer 3rd.
Almost 2 minutes later, the pack arrives, behind lead by Haussler, who finishe's 5th. They couldn't even get to Lapthorne, who finished 4th.

Wow, great results.
And your computer is awesome
Btw, strange that Orica normally doesn't chase the break in your game. They always do in mine.

Thank's Jesleyh. My computer is not great, sadly. But that's currently what money can buy, and it's only a freakin' laptop. |

Australia National Champioship ITT
Last year, young Luke Durbridge took the win. Michael was 4th last year, so i would like another performance like that.
With Jack and Michael, we expect a good result here. Top 10 should be achievable.

@sutty68 - Hard. I suck at TT's except for hilly one's.
@Ian Butler - He sure does.
Jack's is today's best for the team in 12th, 1'43'' behind today's dominant winner. Not a bad race, but could've been better.
It's just not irl. Sky change's their training methods to PCM as Porte literally smashe's his competition to take the win.

@sutty68 - Thanks. Decent indeed.
@wogsrus - Kinda my fault there, but with both of thei form below 50, it was going to be hard.
@Ian - Definetelly.
Today should come up the preview for both New Zealand NC's.

New Zealand National Champiship's ITT
Tim should be able to score good here, a top 5 should be possible and top 10 is guaranteed.
New Zealand National Champiship's RR
Tim should score here a good place, but with Henderson here, win is impossible.

@krisa - Bauer.
@Ian - Of course he can. This is the NC's from New Zealand.
Tim's is today team's best at 10th. Bad form adding a -3 daily form ruined his day. Still, there's something positive about this. Michael finished 11th today and prove's his a talent.
Jesse Sergent confirm's his favouritism tough. Great time-trial by him.
