That gap, I wonder why PCM didn't give a time gap. |

Expected nothing, got what I expected.
The hilly stages will hopefully prove to be a source for a few points at least. Taborre and Salerno will have to overperform massively in this field, though. Guess I'll have to hope for them to go for stage wins or the KoM jersey.
For now, I can just applaud Kennaugh's superior win. Having perhaps the second biggest favourite for that stage as a leadout man might've helped a bit.

Here is my thoughts and reactions of the stage:
- Random guys (non-Armavia) join the breakaway
- Two minutes, not too bad.
- Sprint teams start to haul them in, yummy.
- 5km left: Lo Cicero still in the pack? Wow, nice!
- 2km left: Lo Cicero is still following his man??!?!
- 1,5km left: There is the uphill, bye bye podium, hello 74th place!
- 1km left: Yeah, there he start's fading as usual..
- 500m left: HOLY SHIT!
- 200m left: ???!?!?!?
- Finish: What on earth did I just see?
I will never ever sell Lo Cicero. Legend!
Great report roturn, I love you!! |

Great ride for Drujon, he is still looking for his first win but bringing in a steady flow of points. And Kennaugh of course was super dominant.

Awesome! Finally a little bit of dominance
Looking at the stage profiles - my team's been screwed over by the game's stage race hills AI previously in this season, so I guess it's time to benefit from it this time around. Someone like Reimer might stand a chance of getting a top result - can't expect much from Kennaugh, but never say never. Those hills don't look like much in comparison to other stages which turned out 'boring' despite harder parcours.
We'll see. It's an awesome start to see Kennaugh and Reimer doing as I had hoped when planning the season. Haven't experienced too much of that so far this season |

Wait, did I read that right ?
What a great win, Armee did splendidly. Hopefully with the yellow jersey on his back he can do a good GC here at the end.
Maar is still there in great position. Very good. Buzzing.

Good stage for us, with Chaoufi and Khalilikhosroshani being in the front group. Now hopefully they can hold their GC places or even move higher on the more hilly stages. |

Starting to like this guy. He was already impressive in the Crits. But this win here was huge. HTC is doing much better than i expected, tbh congrats, Ala!

Seems like a good few riders had a bad day today. Pineau among them. Surprised by the end result. Armee who? Congratulations to HTC, though.

Hmm, would have fancied a Reimer win here, but it's positive that he managed to hang on and take 3rd.
Surprising by Armee, but hopefully that's a once in a lifetime result |

Did not see that one coming. The stage turned out far more decisive than I expected. Great day for HTC, profiting from a messy sprint finish to claim a surprising win.
Can't complain about my team either. Both Taborre and Salerno seem to be doing fairly well, while others (Flugel) missed the positioning completely. Tomorrow's stage looks like one for Reimer, imo. Would like to see more breaks from my team as well.

Quite close for Wegmann, but at least he didn't lose any time on this stage.
