"Miya's work as a whole has made Cyanide's Designers look ordinary"
Ordinary usually means decent. Thats hardly a term you would stick on Cyanide im afraid.
Other than that, i'd fully with you Roadie. But one thing worth mentioning IS THAT THEY FIX THE FUCKING SHADERS! They work perfectly in PCM06, but in 07 they cause quite the slow down. And spectators are eating tons of RAM for no good.

Just about what roadie was saying on the interface, i think that this year it looked like a 5 year old designed it. I would prefer a less child-like design, without the huge red mouse, etc.

Sure its not pretty or anything, but i do think its more practical really, so i do have a preference to 07's GUI over 06's GUI.

What surprises me is that no one really has cared for this. I mean, many dislike it, but why did no one release a GUI graphic pack then? After all, it's pretty easy to change. |

@Waghlon,
I dont know where you went to school, but the definition of ordinary does not in any way encompass "decency". Ordinary means...."simple..regular or customary condition". At no stage in my comment did I infer that Cyanide's Designers were decent. |

I know the game could be a lot better, but I'm happy that there is a game called "cycling manager".
I think one of the problems is that they'll never improve anything as long as there is no concurrency.

if you vote for Putin you turn in a green envelope, otherwise you turn in a pink envelope.
really, what's fairer and more secretive than that?

i really think the goals system needs to be chenged, first the number of goals per season should adaptable to size and prestige of the team (a small portuguese team as an objective for almost every race they participate), and the main sponsors are very demanding, even in teams like caisse, quickstep an others in real life they don't force the manager to win le tour or roubaix, if so csc would have to find a manager every year because it's (almost) impossible to win the three majors in one year

I actually think the system works alright. However, if you have a good season, the following season can end up being very, very tough, and I'd like that changed. I mean, winning the TdF and some other classics can easily end up with a demand of a top 3 placing in all three grand tours + classics which is nearly impossible (for a loser like me) |

you really have a point(with a portuguese continental team, first year goals were easy, i choose classics in the of the season, next season i had to finish top 5 in san sebastien)
i also think the transfers system is a litlle bit weird
1. in the following season there is always a world class rider in free agent
2. i dont understand how boonen thinks its a good idea move to caisse
3. its is really hard to continental team to hire a decent pt rider(wich that happen quite frequently)
to resolve first, in december they should be much more aceptive to offers, the second, a leader who is going to move to other team, must impose to the team conditions for him to achieve his goals(like to boonen transfer to caisse, caisse will have to contract 2 cobble riders with +75), the last, is simply make it more easely.

I hope that they will chance the number of potential 8 riders, there come up to 10 of them in one year, and IRL there maybe come one once every 20 year.:x |

A few minor things I've never seen mentioned. One is the option not to take a full complement of 8 riders to a race. I know the AI teams sometimes only send 3 riders, but I have to send 8, even for some low level race. Another useful feature would be the ability to have a rider withdraw from a multi stage race before entering a race. That way it doesn't count as another day raced. Finally, I like the secondary sponsors and finding them, but why not be able to/have to find the main sponsors. This would permit changing team names rather than having the same non-existent Discovery or something like that in the year 2015. The better the sponsor the more money a team could get. |

the problem with the main sponsors is the lost of likeness, cyanide would have to use fake team and riders names if that happen

They are intending to make riders more likely to go to team's from their home nation, beyond that, I do not know. |

i think there should be an option where you can change the work rate of your whole team at the same time, esp in ttt's. its anoying having to click on every rider individually when you want them all to do the same thing. There shouold also maybe be team controls where you can click on a button that says 'chase break' and the whole team automatically moves to the front, or 'protect leader' or 'lead out sprinter'.
I think there should be an option in the training screen where you can tell the trainers when you want certain riders to peak and they get trained accordingly, otherwise what are you actually paying them for???
i think there should also be an option to maybe mark riders. if someones looking dangerous you could stick a rider on him and if he attacks, your rider could automatically go with him.
just a couple of suggestions. |
