Ahh my first race day, and man its pan flat. But more importantly, this is a ten stage race, and it's our most important race so far. Joe Domborowski and Mitch are leading us here. I'm here with Ryan Eastman and Nathan Brown. George Bennet and Carter Jones will help out in the mountains
?My race started at the second sprint, which I won!
Near the finish we got something resebling a sprint train
I was eventually launched
But in the end, Albasini look the win, I finished third!

yes another flat one!
Mitch wasn't feeling to hot so he decided not to do an entry today, but here he is in the mountain jersey
Joe was soloing for most of the race, and he had a 2 minurte advantage with 10km to go!
but sadly it wasn't to be and with 4.2 killometers left we was reeled in
but then there is a huge fall, and we are headed toward the finish
But I lost Mitch's wheel! so in the end Albasini is there again! and Mannion is right behind him. And mitch is 5th!

Max's Reaction
I should have won today. If I haden't lost Ryan's wheel. However, we are still in an amazing position with Gavin and I for the GC. and we have 7 of the top 8 young riders. Sadly none of the 7 are in first. Mitch's 5th place was amazing. I wonder where he would have finished if felt better. |

Stage 4
Today is a hill stage. Dombrowski is our man but I am sure Mitch will want to try as well.
The Race
We were having difficulties this morning as someone had stolen our team jerseys. All of them. So we got stuck with a white jersey with red down the back till we get more made.
I was told to go in the break today. Mostly so I could get the sprint points.
I was joined by Tuft and Hesselbarth.
My legs were feeling absolutely fantastic today. We had more than 5 minutes with the 1st intermediate sprint coming up.
I took maximum points.
I won the 2nd sprint as well.
With 36km to go we were extending the gap still. We had 4.13 seconds.
I won the hill but I was caught at the same time.
Well that was it from me. I dropped off. But it was a downhill so I can still
catch up. I will hand over to Mitch now.
Here I am in my KOM jersey. I may have lost this by the end of the day.
Well Dombrowski was doing great. With 10km to go he was in the leading group.
Albasini and Martin attacked with 8km to go
With 5km to go Dombrowski brought it back together.
With 1km to go Albasini was gone and Dombrowski was still in the group losing no time.
Albasini takes the win ahead of Martin and Van Garderan.
Dombrowski came 6th.
I crossed the line 5.21 behind.

Stage 5
A mountain stage. Mitch and Dombrowski today. I will go in the break and get the sprint points.
The Race
Here I go
I won all 3 sprints. The big news was that Albasini had hit the tarmac hard.
That was it from me. I dropped off the leading group.
Well we were all surrounding Dombo with 17km to go. This is going to be a big finish.
2km later it was just Dombo and me.
Kiserlovski was the first favourite to attack.
I couldn’t hang on either and it was down to Dombo with 11km to go.
It broke into a group of 10 leading. Albasini was struggling.
With 6km to go Dombo tried.
He failed and was caught 1km later
With 3km to go Stitina, Kiserlovski and Morabito attacked and boy were they gone.
Stitina holds of the others and takes a well deserved win.
Albasini came in 4th and Dombo 5th. Albasini just won’t break.

Dombo tried his best to get rid of Albasini but he won’t crack. Well I wanted a better result as well but of course I can’t complain. I did my job and Dombo still got a top 5.

Stage 6:
Garmin decided not to chase the break. Luckily Gavin Mannion was in the break, and took the victory, while out sprinting his companions
Stage 7
Garmim doesn't chase again, Mannion in the break again, but sadly this time he'll take second
Stage 8
Garmin reeled in the break. An d after an amazing lead out, Mitch throws me full speed at the line and I am able to take the win!!!! But without a big crash near the end, witch cut the peleton in half, I might not have taken it
stage 9
another spint, but this time Blain of endura took it. I didn't feel great so we lead out Mitch witch didn't go so well
