Boonen uses up all his energy to stay clear of a bunch sprint that he surely would have won! Great win for Cancellara - he is having an awesome start to the season for SRB. Hoped to see more from former rider Blythe given that it went to a sprint though!
And a Top 50 for Vesuvio

Well, great report with really bad result for my team in the end. Great win for Spartacus.

That was shit.
Well, Nuyens giving it a try not so much, but the sprint went very bad because of this.
Plus, though I obviously don't wish any opponent bad results, Venchi and Heineken taking comparably lots of points isn't making this any more satisfying.

Burghardt actually does well in these sprint normally, but he went far to early. I hope this isn't a déjà vu of last seasons cobbles.

Looked good but a disappointing fade from Gusev in the end. Thanks for the report Roturn. |

I can't say I've been impressed with Blythe's sprinting as of yet. Or his first cobble race. I'd have preferred a higher end result, but I guess it's reassuring to see both him and Fenn try some attacks. |

Great result from Vanmarcke. 6th here is way better than I expected.

Great report, roturn!
Cancellara seems determined to push Simply Red Bull way ahead of relegation. Those wins are extremely valuable for them, as it gives a lots of points compared to the places behind. Congratulations!
Nice to see Juul-Jensen in the breakaway, that was really all I could hope for here |

I picked this race as a win goal, reasoning that Boonen would win from a small group sprint in Belgium. However clearly an overconfident Tommake believed he could do it solo. What a muppet.
Still absolutely stunned to see Cancellara outsprint Pozzato and Bewley, fantastic win and what a boost for us. Indeed relegation is becoming less of a concern, wins are really big bonuses. Sets it up for a fascinating cobbled season in the protour, anyone could step up in my opinion.
For now it's party time for SrB

Both Trentin and Sinkeldam in the first group. Good race for 1t4i.

5th for Ballan is good. If he keeps racking up top 5 finishes I will be very pleased.

Solid ride by Vanspeybrouck. That was a smaller group than I thought would arrive together.

Hmm, it's a little bit weird to actually beat Boonen in a cobble classic and lost a final sprint againt Cancellara at the same race. Too bad, Bewley went too early, but still a really nice result, 2nd place is in the end way better than 10th place, surely not the luckiest race for Pokerstars.. Congrats to Smowz and his Red Bull team.
