Looks doable for Germany, but England has a very nice group with Ukraine and Croatia

To say i'm delighted at the look of Group 6 is an understatedment
It's between England, Croatia and Ukraine, but by then Shevchenko will be too old and completley crap, so we just have to watch out for Voronin.

here's the bad news then
only the top team qualifies. the second placed team might go to a playoff IF they're one of the best second-placed teams
EDIT: oh yes, and by then Corluka, Modric, Eduardo and Kranjcar will be far more experienced

9 groups, top team qualifies -> 9 teams
worst second placed team is out, the other 8 second places go to a playoff. 4 teams emerge and qualify -> 4 teams
13 teams total

They will definatley give us a very hard game and as isso said, a lot of their players can only get better.
Hopefully the new manager will install some passion and drive into the team which will get us through, it would be a national disaster should we fail to qualify for both the Euro's and World Cup
