Great to see vulnerable Bennati on home field (sorry cio ). Just a pity Bewley was too fast today...

Surprising to see Bennati lose such a gap so close to the end - I guess the worse Stamina and slightly weaker hill stat may well have cost him. Nice win for Bewley. And its nice for Vesuvio to see Swift's main rivals all here, fighting each other and not him!
Bakelandts looking dangerous already. One of the GC riders was always going to win the Points jersey here, so scoring well on the flat will certainly help him out there

Nice to see our team at the front, and hopefully that's a good sign for what's to come. Interesting to see Hagen up there, mixing it with the lead outs, though, it doesn't really matter. What does matter though, is the positioning on stage two. The first of many critical tests.
Congratulations to Milka! Brilliant win by Bewley, showing he's capable of more than he managed in Qatar. |

Nice report, especially nice work with the screenshots, that was well done. What a great sprint, so close!

Bewley and Boonen came very fast at the end, also the wind and the hill perhaps blunted Benny's finish. Oh that and maybe he panicked and chased crappy Van Heerden.

Good ride by Sinkeldam. It would be nice if he would actually go for the jersey.

Wow, what an amazing start on this race! Corioni with a good try in the 1st stage, followed up by a super-aggressive Sagan! Great report, Smowz!
Looking at the three other hilly stages, it looks hard for Sagan to defend his leaders jersey with so many great hilly riders on start, but I won't loose hope!

Great to see my talented climber can get a top 10 in a PT stage, even when he's working for his captain.
Very nice win for Sagan

Nice report Smowz but PCM12 Hilly AI continues to disappoint with no action from the leaders. Early signs are really suggesting that it is not a good game in hill stages at all, unfortunately.

Brilliant reporting, Smowz!
I don't like that Boasson Hagen seemed to be way down in the peloton for most of the stage though. It didn't look good for the stages to come, but let's see. Hopefully he'll improve his positioning when it matters.
Congratulations to Venchi! Brilliant attack, and it looks like that's a new "feature" in PCM12, to see those attacks make it first to the finish line. |

Nice to see Delage in the peloton.
Congratulations to Venchi, but please don't win the race

Brilliant ride by Vanendert. Too bad he couldn't hold on for the stage win.

Fantastic start for Bewley! That late kick was just amazing. I would never expect he could win this stage when it was 1 km to go.. This win over Bennati and Boonen just on the line, that's actually a huge win and gained points from this race are already at pretty nice number.
Well and that effort in second hilly stage, that was a great ride by Bewley as well. I know AI in PCM12 isn't really great, but he indeed almost keeped his leader jersey, amazing. It is a really good thing to know before races like Rund um Koln or Praha-KV-Praha will be raced.
And great reports Smowz.

Ulissi is still within touch of a decent result. With a bit of luck a top 10 here and a bid for young riders jersey would be possible. Looking forward to see the Paris-Nice though. The hills seems so very unpredictable, and by the looks of it that means that Chris Anker might even have a chance to grab a top 15 position.

Wow, I'm really surprised that it didn't break up more than that. Good to see Albasini going for it, that's what he's here for.

A good solid start to the season so far, and it's continuing here. Possibly will miss out on the Goal, whatever I set for this race, but it's nice to see the new recruits performing admirably. Pity Rabbotini couldn't have overhauled Sagan, but can't have it all.
SN: I hope it improves significantly considering my entire season is based on the hills! Though if it does come down to sprints, or lieutenants going for the wins, I think I'm covered in both aspects |

ATM it seems that it's a good idea to have subtop hilly riders who can attack from way out, rather than having the obvious leader. The leaders seem to perform well in the one day races, but in these stageraces? Not so much. Oh well, it can still change.

It started really well, but in the end the third stage wasn't the best for me. Sinkeldam could have taken a ton of points and the KoM lead, but instead he ruined his day by only taking one point
